It's about three teams being worse than us.
I expect Palace, West Ham and Hull to really struggle.
We normally buy in January so it will be down to fat Mike to put his fat fingers in his fat wallet.

I'd be surprised if Hull struggled, like. Relatively impressive whenever I've seen them, and comfortably better in the flesh than West Ham and Fulham, who look dire.

Fat Mike was sat there, hopefully as embarrassed as hell and will want to do something about it.

He wont want to become a laughing stock and risk losing business through his sports goods outlets,

I don't know who the hell is our defensive coach is but he should be relieved of his duties. We have been shocking all season with the same mistakes occuring time after time, notably our full backs being caught on the half way line when balls are pumped upfield. It was pathetic in the first half . Get young Dummet on at LB soon as.

Mbiwa was as bad as most in the first half and please don't be calling for his head already, the amount of times Saylor has embarrassed himself in the black and white in recent years is off the scale.

We played better in the second half, so ****ing what - we lost. Its amazing how well you play when the other team have already won the match.

Watching stoke yesterday they could struggle after a solid start to the season they were awful

At least we're still 6 points clear of Sunderland.

So, come season's end, we will beat Derby's low point record by 5 points then? :D

ACS - Sunderland? Are you really expecting some miraculous turnaround.

I wasn't expecting that last night. I thought you'd give us a really tough game, so that first half display shocked me tbh. We were great but you were minging in that first 45. That centre half who got the hook at HT was dire, he shat himself when Lukaku was anywhere near him.

2nd half you were much better, but we had the cigars out, which was disappointing. Good luck for the rest of the season <ok>

Only caught the first half of your game in the pub. Terrible half. Looks like the bitters bottled it a bit in the second half though. Still, Martinez has played more football in 6 games than Moyes did in a decade.

Didn't know they were even playing Everton (you changed your badge?) until the 9th minute when the goal celebration suddenly stopped and you could hear a pin drop in the stadium. Happy to support a team below Man Utd who have a chance to move above them though <ok>

So you have the same points as ManU and Swansea......
You've just lost by the odd goal in five at Everton.....

Wouldnt you have taken that before the season started? Just a bit of perspective lads.

ABU is not the same as bitter

Liverpool and Man Utd compete for the record of most successful team in England -> ABU

Everton compete for nothing -> bitter

    <ok>

In his regular BBC Sport column on football tactics, Robbie Savage watches Everton continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season with a devastating first-half attacking display in their 3-2 victory over Newcastle.

The way Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley linked up against the Magpies was sensational - and they showed us how difficult they will be to stop this season.

But there is a balance to the rest of this Everton team too. It helps them get the best out of players like Lukaku - Roberto Martinez's side is set up to play to its strengths. Whereas the Newcastle manager doesn't seem to know what his strengths are.
