Poor old Judas has had his claims that racism in English football has kept him out of a top job in management... by his own agent! <laugh>
Sky Andrew popped up on Talksport to rubbish Campbell's opinions, pointing out that it's very competitive and he's not done enough to put himself on the market.
    How embarrassing!

It may occur to him one day people don't give a **** what badges he's got, we just don't like his morals.

    Top job in management <doh>

Try working your way up the food chain Sol, like everyone else has to. Suppose he thinks he's too good to be a coach for a few years.

Just read the article properly <doh>

Good luck with moving abroad to coach, if anything opportunities for black coaches are far greater here than anywhere else in Europe, except perhaps Germany and Netherlands. In France and Italy black people are considered second class citizens, Spain has a massive racism problem in football. Perhaps you could try Russia or Poland Sol?

And his complaint about Gary Neville getting a job with England:

"Suddenly, Gary Neville pops up as assistant manager. It's obvious they want nice people who won't cause them any problems."

Yes Sol, they do, like most organisations. That's probably where you're going wrong <doh>

There was some bollocks in the Grauniad today bout how English football should adopt the Rooney Rule from the NFL and every time a job becomes available someone from a minority should be interviewed.

So remind me, how many preople from a Latino or Native American background are head coaches in the NFL? They're minorities too, right?

...or I could refer to the post I made a week or so ago:

It should go ahead, just so Garth Crooks can have an interview when the Man Utd or Arsenal job becomes available.

Sol Campbell embodies everything that's wrong with some of the black community re: entitlement.

Racism is still prevalent in the UK for sure but we're in an age now where positive discrimination is being pushed and BME groups have as good a chance as anyone else in getting jobs.

I'm 100% against positive discrimination and recent the idea somebody should be given a job based on their skin colour as opposed to their competence and ability to do the job successfully.

The likes of Paul Ince, John Barnes and Sol Campbell will use the race card at any given opportunity whereas the likes of Chris Powell and Chris Hughton will graft and earn their opportunity.

Not sure why you include Ince. Paid his dues at Macclesfield, MK Dons and now Blackpool. Looks a grafter to me?

Exactly. He'll be back in the PL in not too long if he keeps doing well. I don't think Ince did complain about the difficulties for black managers in the game but even if he did it's nothing like the attention-whore S*l's complaints. Ince is actually out there working hard to achieve his goals, Judas is whinning because no one's handing him opportunities on a plate.

Ince spent months complaining when Blackburn sacked him.

Wouldn't go that far, just tried to save face over an appalling run, 3 wins in 17 doesn't keep you in any job. The players lifted performances after he left too as stated in this link. A lot of managers have bad spells, this was his.

Pato's got recurring back problems I've heard, thats what kept him out for so long at AC. Shame for him really as he's clearly got talent but not one we should pursue IMO.
