I know that Ellis Short will have the final say about who comes in as our next manager but who will be making the real call as to who it will be. Surely such an appointment cannot be taken by financial people alone, there must be be someone with football knowledge behind any final choice.......but who is it? Bally has a bit of a vested interest and is a little busy at the moment. Di Fanti has only been around the premier league for 5 minutes. Surely Ellis hasn't convinced himself that he know enough in footballing terms. Anyone with a inside knowledge?
Interesting question mate. I think the financial people will have their role but not in any way choosing the manager. I believe Short will be taking advice from 'unknown advisers' who he trusts but will make his own decision. He's done the same in the States and, just as he sacked PDC, will choose the new manager.
God knows mate just wish they'd do it sooner rather than later though so whoever it is can get on and get us some points on the board.
