I don't dislike him. I was all for giving him until christmas and at the moment I'd say we need to put in a couple of performances and if we keep being dross and get beaten in the derby then it would be an appropriate time to remove him.

No hard feelings though, his hands are clearly tied on certain things and it will be interesting in a few years time to find out how the club has actually been run for the past few years.

Also, people need to be careful what they wish for. I'd have happily had McLaren (there i said it) but not many others around at the moment and certainly not Kinnear!! If that is the alternative then Pardew all the way for me.

Nothing embarrassing about the outcome there lads, still worth no points but at least some positives to take into the next game. Pardew made some good changes and didn't wait until the 60-70th minute to do them. First half we were utter dross though...

 

But he's been utter camel **** for ages now, not just this game.

 

Last season was dire, the season before was ace. I think we all suspected that this season was going to be a 12-15th place season rather than anything higher and that was before we refused to spend any money!!

I get annoyed by the teams we put out sometimes and some of the substitutions but overall I think we'll be safe this season and am still willing to give Pardew a chance. If we can play some decent football and threaten to be top half then I think that's the best we can hope for and if Pardew can deliver that then fine. If the Hull game and our defending in the last 6 months is how things are going to be then yes his days are numbered. Next few games up to and including the derby he has my full support, this early in the season only one result can have the table looking very different so I'm not too keen to remove him after we failed to do so in the summer.

 

If we lose the next few games and get hammered in the diary he will have to walk.
