And yes I know the players are **** but Pardew has now overseen home defeats to Reading and Hull. He's been in charge of gutless performances away at City and now Everton, add to that the home debacles against Liverpool and Sunderland and I just don't see how he can remain in charge.

All of those games are within the last 6 months of his tenure (not including pre season). He HAS lost the dressing room and on the slightest chance that he hasn't it just can't be denied that he's not getting anywhere near the best out of them. He's not even getting 50% out of them and yet again we are being embarrassed in front of millions of viewers.

He must go and it must be tonight. And yes I know it's only half time and we're only 6 games in, blah blah blah.

WE ARE **** AT THE MOMENT and the manager always has and always will carry the can.

On a final note Dummett has to start the next game. Neither of our full backs can defend for ****.

I think he'll go soon, but half this squads needs to. They're ****e. Dummett must play and we must change our transfer policy, we lack any sort of grit to play football in this country. We look like a bunch of players who are used to playing in a soft arse European league..............

It's not just Pardew mate I completely agree and the players are most definitely culpable too but we are stuck with them. You're spot on regarding our transfer policy too but nobody will ever convince me that another manager couldn't get more out of these players than Pardew has over the past 6-12 months.

No way back for him after this. A quote from Pardew before the game "it's an evening game under floodlights and we are ready for it and can't wait".

He clearly can't fire up the players anymore.

He can't **** off soon enough as far as I'm concerned. But I dread what kind of **** we'll bring in.

I think Pardew meant 'we can't wait for the floodlights to open this evening'.

They don't give a **** mate and are ill suited to the league. The rest of the league know it too. Get stuck in, play fast, they are clueless. Once behind the split pea hearts come out. Who we gonna get as manager is what worries me? Likely Joe but if not it'll be some useless fecker out of a job for ages, cheap as chips

In a way, I'm disappointed that we came out and played well the second half. Probably lends some credibility to the idea that Pardew has what it takes to turn things around. This game was effectively lost from the word go, but a more comprehensive defeat would've really put Pardew in a bad spotlight.

It's not that I expected us to win tonight and to be fair to Pardew his subs were decent tonight.

However we can't win a game with 9 men (no full backs). Our back four looked liked they'd never ever trained together let alone played together. It's looked like that away at City, home to Liverpool, home to Sunderland and at home to Hull.

I still don't see that we have a set game plan and there is no steady improvement in any area of our team. We are on a decline and need a change.

Sissoko was awful and should be dropped.

I just couldn't understand how poor we were in the 1st half looking at a possible 6, 7 goal drubbing then come out in the 2nd half and look like a different team and with just a little luck could have somehow got a draw. Must have been someone other than Pardew doing the half time talk.

We need some radical changes at the back. Dummett must play. Mbiwa should not be allowed anywhere near the team for the next game. He should be made to watch that 3rd goal over and over again until he realise just how shocking it is.
