He will have a good chance of playing as we haven't got proper cover for Giroud or Walcott (Gnarby is still green). Also, it's debatable whether you'd want to play Cazorla on the left wing or in the centre. With Pod back, Cazorla will naturally go into the centre where he was very effective last season, so another place becomes available. We need a couple more players in the squad to push for the title, otherwise we're just making it harder on ourselves.
If we did get him, he definitely would get more playing time. With RVP being their no 1 striker and Wellbeck being preferred over Hernandez, he would get more playing opportunities with us. Giroud realistically can't play 50+ games over a season.
