So much for that !, how did the goal line technology not see Sturridge use his arm ?, did no one claim he did?.
Sorry but I actually agree with the sentiments of Monty - "does a ball cross the line or not" is responsible for maybe 1 or 2 decisions a season whereas a handball, incorrect offside, incorrectly given (and not given) penalty costs far more goals than the was it/wasn't it over the line argument. A replay would've showed the handball (which Sturridge would've accepted) yet there was no doubting whether the ball was in or not (and still hasn't been in any situation this season) - so why was there millions ploughed into goal line tech and not into technology that can register offside correctly or replay a disputed goal?
Quite agree but the powers that be, IE, Blat the Twat & Twatini don't so we'll all just have to carry on being ripped off by the corrupt ****s.
If you start down the road of using technology for every disputed decision then the games would last about 5 hours!
Just the game changers reg like offsides and stuff. It wouldn't really be any different to goalline tech in that it'd be a quick replay to find out if a player is on or off side for tight decisions. Not like the American football lark and it hasn't impacted rugby that much. I just think that goal-line tech is pointless - they analysed last season in the Premier League and there were zero incorrect goal-line decisions - yet there were in excess of 100 incorrect offsides when a player was running through on goal and potentially game changing so why have they spent >£20m on goal-line tech when it would never have been required last season?
Yet the refs cannot see a blatant back pass, or Sagna should have been sent off for Arsenal up here, they are in it together and the fixtures were rigged. At the end of the season get all the evidence together and send it to UEFA to look at as we are being cheated into the championship. And there is something fishy going on here conceding 3 goals in each of the last 4 matches.
Alrite Marcus. Are you suggesting football adopt the the tennis ruling where you get say 3 challenges a match which revert to hawk eye replays to clarify? I think that would be an excellent idea. The amount of money at stake in this sport is too much for inconsistent referees to handle on their own.
