Afternoon all, Yeah, so it wasn't a great performance at the weekend but only if we consistently performed as poor as that over several games would I get worried. Just thinking about poor results, one that stands out was when the side I support here in N.I lost 8-1 with a shocking performance to our league rivals in October 2010... things at that moment looked down but we ended up finishing 2nd that season. Amazing what a shock to the system can do McD is doing things the right way in the scenario we find ourselves in post Bates. It doesn't take much intelligence to see past any dissenting emphasis on a result or a small string of results compared to the importance of re-building solid foundations. Football is a fickle sport, players who cost more than our entire club's networth can have a collective bad day at the office. Hopefully that performance will be a kick up the behind that the players need to keep their hard work of previous performances going. If we can add that extra sprinkle of creativity and prowess then who knows. But if it doesn't happen for whatever reason, all we can ask for this season, as anyone with their feet on the ground knew before the season started, is a bunch of players willing to play for the shirt and keep us in a position to leap from whilst the club heals. If we're fighting fit sooner rather than later that's great, if not, no reason to get frustrated. Roll on the Bournemouth match.

Banning Clive was not on my things to do this morning, but when regulars were threatening to leave the board, something had to be done. Over the last few days, I have been in constant contact with a few regulars, and one of the supermods regarding the right cause of action, and had decided to.............well, you can read my first comment of the day. When there is dissent in the ranks, immediate action had to be taken. I spoke to Bucks, and the supermod, and it was decided to remove Clive from the board. Do I think some Leeds posters gave him an unjust time, yes I do!!! I believe his reputation for wuming preceded him. Was banning him the right thing to do. At 10.00am this morning, yes it was.....
