Oh indeed, we have a few leavers recently and that was all down to self-inflicted malice. Guru may have laughed but it was some of our clowns that have pushed their arguments too far and too personally.
I quite enjoy guru's contribution to our board. Certainly more than picking through/around&around one of Rob's posts. And from what I'd heard he's on the money with Zigic/Brum comments. Not that it matters. CH had to make something work with a limited squad and sod all money to spend. And he did well given what he had to work with. But I don't think it was football at its finest. Bizarre that some of these delicate flowers want to banish folk on a forum. If it really winds you up that much, perhaps the Internet isn't for you.
well having seen them myself a few times under hughton i'd disagree with the bit in bold, unless you think destroying teams on their own patch 6-0 while playing super-quick counter attacking play is boring. guru bases all his hughton comments on two games against ipswich. fair enough - i base mine on just four games i watched, though i also base it on birmingham fans views! i saw one dull game, one typical mid season slog game, one incredible counter attacking display and one of the games of the season which ended 3-3. bits of both worlds in there, i'm sure anyone would agree. so, a bit like hughton in charge of norwich then...

I'm not here to cause trouble, i left the thread when i could see it was getting disrupted (not by me, but by your insulting attitude). To be honest Guru, what annoyed me here is that you left the thread fully three days ago, and yet some random Norwich fan decides to barge in, swinging his willy and getting involved utterly unnecessarily when this was supposed to die a death. That the next "peacemaker" to join in happened to be an Ipswich fan, and also happened to accuse me of trying to stop people voicing an opinion, despite the fact that has nothing to do with what has happened here, was simply ironic. You really need to stop this whingeing. You do not "deserve respect" for serving time, you have to earn it by not reverting to the same disposition and, so far, you have shown you find that difficult. I am quite happy for you to post on this board, so long as it is not thinly veiled wummery, which is what I called you out on and started this charade. Right Rob i will take your points in order, firstly you saying that you don't stop people voicing their opinions, I'm sorry but you do, I was only voicing my opinions of Hughton from what i have seen and heard, they differ from yours so the mud slinging started, the same as Gruffnuts voiced an opinion about how he didn't mind me, yet again it differs from your so, insults start flying. Respect, I'm sorry but i was always brought by treating others as you would like to be treated. I not saying that i deserve respect for 'serving time' im saying that because i haven't resorted to insults I can't see why you should think that is appropiate for you to do so. I have had a few tasty run in's with Guru and friends about the scarlet pimpernell AKA Marcus Evans and the "unique" way Ipswich is run as a club (in an ever increasing amount of debt). I have always found that he gives as good as he gets and is mostly a decent guy to have a debate with. Also, I think he contributes something to the forum which makes it a better place as after all it is a public forum for debating things, isn't it? Football wouldn't be the same without the banter.
Actually, I challenged your opinion by presenting facts because I was interested to know WHY you held your opinion. All I said was that your opinion was utterly illogical. That is not the same as censoring you. You are playing the martyr here - you are perfectly entitled to your opinion and I have never said otherwise, but I am equally entitled to challenge your opinion and point out its flaws. You can't prevent me from doing that even though you don't like it. I stand by my right to argue. The only thing I have ever requested banning is your WUMMERY. I said before that if you removed that aspect, you would be free to post your opinion, but you can't resist. As for the part in bold - once again you are being utterly disingenuous, you know full well this had nothing to do with him advocating his support for you and everything to do with the fact that HE had a go at my posts and I responded in kind. I never said he shouldn't hold his opinion, I just said if he didn't like my posts he should put me on ignore rather than wade into an argument that wasn't his business. I don't know why you're being fooled by Guru, but at no point have I suggested he shouldn't contribute to debate. No matter how hard Guru and his cheerleaders try and tar me with the "censorship" brush, it simply hasn't happened. They tried to do the same to Dave and it was a transparent tactic that they use to try to stifle any opposition to their wumming or their views. I'm all for banter - I don't mind harmless teasing, but nasty stirring was what I objected to and Guru knows exactly what I mean.
