Im pretty sure Chester will have permission from the club to have done this. Jimmy Bullshit didnt have permission to turn up for training wrecked falling straight out of a London black cab or to bring hookers to the pre-season training camp.

The difference is, which I assume you're just choosing to ignore so you can argue about ****e, is that Bullard DIDN'T give a crap, whereas Chezzy does. One treated our club with contempt, the other doesn't. Comparing Chester to Bullard is like comparing chalk and cheese.
Well if you understand that then where's the issue? If the club says it's fine, then it's fine. Done. The point everyone had a go at Bullard about was cos his antics were in blatant disregard of club discipline and showed a lack of respect to hierachy and fans alike. I dont see why you dont see the difference.

He is injured, so has been given permission by the club to go and relax in the sun with his long-term girlfriend which will hopefully make him fresher for his return. His girlfriend tweets about the club all the time and they both obviously have a huge amount of respect for City, she isn't just some prostitute he picked up on a night out. Bullard was a completely different case, he was snorting coke in the Weir the night before training and turning up pissed with complete disregard for the club. He was a **** and Chezzy is a top guy, that's why nobody is complaining.
