Seems it's same old same old from a number of posters on here.

They don't like the comments of a fellow poster, call that poster all names under the sun, start bullying threads about them, gang up on them, and demand they are banned.

While Clive may not be your cup of tea, he has acted much more honorable than others on here.

When McD has gone, and we all know all managers get sacked, you do realise Clive will have a field day on here with some of you.

And he is no different from others that have constantly ranted against either GFH, lust, bates, Varney or warnock.

Maybe some people just hate and would prefer to live in a totalitarian state of their own

Good morning btw

I thank Sheldon for his comments, and ask you to consider them.

Whilst Clive can be annoying, I ask you to consider :-

I) Is he setting out to deliberately annoy you

II) Have you given him a fair chance, or are you tarring him with the same brush as when he was Clive Time???

On the flip side of the coin, Clive, you have annoyed a lot of people. I have received PM's from the hierarchy over the last few days.

Please think before you post. Is it going to annoy, is it going to WUM???

A little less controversy, and a little more blending in, wouldn't do you cause any harm...

Nuff said...

After losing to our Sarf London friends, where do we go from here?

Is it just a striker and a winger?

Will that solve our problems?

Who thinks we will bounce back v Bournemouth???

I saw David Van day touring with (some of) Bucks Fizz. They were performing on a cruise that I was on in the Carribean New Years Eve about eight years ago...

Morning all ... can't ever remember reading anything positive about Leeds, the manager et al in clive's posts. Nope, he is simply a WUM, not a Leeds fan. Ask him to meet for a drink before a Leeds match .... exactly!! A scummer having what he thinks is "fun" by bombing our board with senseless "points". The mood on this board has changed significantly since clive started "posting", and it says everything when our hallowed morning thread is taken up to discuss this miserable person. Time to go clive, time to go. I am taking the decision to stop contributing to this board as long as clive is active here. There is no point, he is just plain disruptive and does his best to hijack conversations. Bye clive, annoy away, I'm not listening.

Grayson had to buy from the dustbins
Warnock had to buy from the dustbins
Mcdermott has to buy from the dustbins

whoever the manager is they will still have the previous managers **** players draining wages and preventing getting anyone else in.

If Mdermott was replaced it would still be the same new manager comes in buys a few players he likes and being stuck with Hunt Smith and other ****e

You can avoid seeing anyones posts (even mine <laugh>) if you select the ignore option. Click on them, go to their profile and the option is top left.

You still see their posts if you can't be arsed to sign in, of course. And you still see quotes when someone else quotes what they've said. But it reduces your exposure considerably.

To Elland and Clive (if he is capable of listening), I don't really care if you ban or not as I am happy with the reduction in exposure I get from filtering clive. In my case, I understand Sheldon's points but my reasons for not wanting to listen to him are clear: I had a good view of the poster from his time on JA (where he is now banned). When he came here he immediately referenced that banning and started on the same themes. I am not sure he is a wum, I suspect he is indeed a Leeds fan, although I understand why others think he is not. But what I am sure is that he always becomes the centre of attention, the subject of threads, and that threads about other subjects rapidly get turned over to his pet themes. It seems whatever you mention, it is not long before he introduces a subject from his (short) list of favourite topics. Although some people may ignore him (like me) most will be tempted to take the bait and reply, and as a result the forum will be slanted/distorted/weakened as a result. (As already pointed out, here we are on a Good Morning thread and its all we are talking about).

I don't think Clive is a wum. I have my theories why he always returns to his small set of favourite subjects, but I am not going to start airing speculation about another poster on this forum. If Clive could keep to the topics of the thread, and not keep introducing his favourites, I would say keep him --- for all the "free speech" reasons Sheldon gives. If, as I fear, he can't/won't do that, eventually you ought to conclude he is simply too disruptive to the good health of the greater community, debates are being damaged, and you will need to ban him. But I'd give him a bit longer to show he can/can't stop being a source of disruption, to be fair. Thats my take.

I'm not all that sure about the necessity to ban Clive. I read the odd post from him but mostly dont bother. Surely if those who have a problem with his ramblings simply ignore him and dont reply to him, he'll get bored with the whole thing. Seems to be about double the amount of posts here since he appeared but thats as much due to the replies as to his stuff surely. Personally, I couldnt care less. Without the differing viewpoints we all have, this would be a boring old spot and I certainly wouldnt resort to boycotting the forum because he's on it

I agree with most of the above. If you start banning people for their views, however annoying they are, you will end up with a forum, like a bike forum I used to be on, that is very clicky and ends up being run by people who only let views that are the same as theirs. If I dont like a post or poster I ignore it/them.

We are not all the same. Thank God!!!

Morning all -

I made a decision last night to avoid any threads that Clive starts, they all go exactly the same way.

Fully agree. Replacing McD would be a disaster. Wonder will he want to stay around for the next three years though if he doesn't get sufficient backing? If present run was to continue, it wouldn't do his cv any good.

Morning all<ok>
So here we are, again………we lose a few games and someone already wants to sack the manager<doh>
Let’s take a step back and have a look at it. Why is it that we always seem to come into this mess and that manager always seems to fail when coming to Leeds? Well the simple answer to that is, we change them too often and have to start all over again. Leeds is in an afoul circle where we do the same mistakes over and over again. We can’t go on and sack the manager every time we are in a bad patch.
I say, let stick with the manager and break the circle.
We all know we don’t have the money to buy 6-7 players every season. We may have money to buy 3-4 players a season. That means it will take a manager 3-5 seasons to get the team he wants. But that is never going to happen, because we will sack them after one season if not sooner.
I heard that someone said that the chairman has come out and said that with the squad we have we should have won the game against the Wall. Well, maybe we should have, unfortunately football does not work that way. And I don’t like it when a chairman comes out and say things like that, it tells me that there is something else going on behind the scene. Like the possibility that the manager is soon to get sacked.
So, on to our next game. What do we think? Will we win it?
I’m going for 2-0 win for Leeds, it’s about time we start to win our homegames<ok>

I'm surprised that McD hasn't fallen on his sword - like most seem to do after loosing to little old 'Nilwall'

I hope the chairman didnt say that. He has no right as he's not a football man anyway. The only snag with your theory of the three years is while McD is building slowly, our better players like Ross and Sam will not wait around a la all the previous ones that jumped ship. Like it or not, progress will have to be quicker or we could be buying a couple a year just to stand still
