You're virtually the only one here dedicated to putting him down 24/7. Many of the people outside of here are praising him from his improved performances since the Villa game.
Well in my unbiased view your squad, manager, fans, owners and stadium are all crap. Your u15 team is even worse.
If these points were all true . It would not reflect well for Tottenham Hotspur would it. As your team is inferior on all the above points . Thats not a biased view by the way , just factual .
I do not think that the goalkeeper is being raved about and i do not think that being less attached to this board means I do not watch and see how a player does. I watch all the Arsenal games as they are my favourite english club. I think Szcesny is doing ok. he is a very good shot stopper and is making fewer mistakes as he gets older and more experienced and I like him as a player because of his confidence. I read your comments slagging him off in every game and ignoring all his good moments and i do not understand your points at all. I think maybe you are not reasoning clearly on him and it is why i do not think your opinion means much when you talk about him. I am not saying that generally just for the goal keeper for some reason.
Both Giroud and Chesney had solid games, and for all of gent's ches bashing he obviously failed to notice that he basically commanded his area for the whole game and especially in the second half when Swansea were lobbing balls into our box. Ches came and claimed virtually every one. Can't ask more than that from your keeper
Giroud's job is to score goals, he hasn't done that now in 3 games, and had a clear goal scoring opportunity against Swansea at the end of the first half, which he should have taken. That chance he missed is what he should be judged on as he is a striker, some of you are just trying to make whatever excuses you can, and want to judge him on other aspects of the game, when the aspect of the game that you should judge him on, you completely ignore, like him missing his golden chance to score. And if you think it's too harsh to be down on him because he hasn't scored in 3 games, then some of you need to learn what top class quality striker means and requires, and what being an elite club means. Standards are high when you claim to be an elite club, though it seems some on here like brandishing the term 'elite' for Arsenal, but aren't willing to take on board the standards to make you elite, ;-). A top quality striker should be scoring in every other game, that's what I expect from Giroud, to be scoring 1 in every 2, or at least 1 in every 3, if that's too much for some of you, then you have no clue on what top class standards are. Stop making excuses.
one goal in two is about right for a top quality striker maybe even more but that is an average right? A lot of top strikers go 3 games without a goal don't they?
Yeah they do. If he doesn't score in 5, then we can declare him "off-form" but it takes a long time to become a poor striker. I'd be interested to see if there's a "type" of club he generally scores against based on his goals for Arsenal so far.
I didn't think Giroud played well, but he's had a good enough season so far to warrant many more chances. I agree with what you've said about Szczesny.
I'm not jumping to anyone's rescue,I'm just fed up with some of the childish insults that are posted because people have a different viewpoint to other members
He's had better games, but what I said was that Giroud was solid. He had a hand in both goals and contrary to the opinion that his only job is to score, it isn't. His job is to provide other players with goals too and even when he's not scoring, he's still creating chances for others.
But he's been crap whilst doing it. He contributes **** all to this side apart from goals, and now they've dried up, he's doing nothing.
