Thought we played our best football after they scored. Never felt they would get another. Still not convincing but we are second and 6 points ahead of United,who wouldn't have taken that beginning of season. Still much to do. Thought Moses really came into the game second half and was then hooked? Sterling..waste of space...need a quality right midfielder/winger. Henderson's final ball is piss poor and looks scared to drive into the box. Lucas still not imposing himself like he can. And misses next game. Sakho looked good,good distribution and strong when he needed to be. Enrique tries hard but poor quality into the box. We have the best strike partnership in the league, we just Ned the quality around the edges to compliment it. The and only then will we challenge for the title. But happy so far
Moses was terrible in the first half was always too far forward or too deep, he sorted that out and was very good in the 2nd half. Thought he was brilliant in the 20 mins before he was taken off. Good to see us play well (not great) in a 2nd half.
Apologies, twas a bit antagonistic. But to claim you were hard done by by the ref, come on, seriously...
He is a squad payer for me someone who can come on and work when needed but the quality is lacking he needs to be more positive.

In my opinion he is the type of player that you need for certain types of games, such as the 1-0 win against Utd, but that you don't need for other games when a more creative option would be more useful.
Thought it was very disappointing to see the crowd leaving after 3rd goal. Sunderland made a real good account of theirselves and deserved an acknowledgement from their supporters. On another point who will play instead of Lucas next week. I guess Henderson will drop back but what about Agger sitting in there? Think he could be really good in that position.
I said he was a joke. Which he is. He was poor again today. He cost you for the first goal, and made inconsistent decisions all game with freekicks. Not all of which were in our favour. I could understand you calling me out if I'd said he was screwing us. I was remarking about his general ****eness after another bad call on a foul (against Moses, which was shoulder to shoulder and not a foul). If a ref screws up and costs your opposition a goal should you then allow that influence your perception of the rest of his performance? For example when he later makes another mistake and gives the opposition a soft freekick should I say, 'well that wasn't a foul but hey at least he gave us that goal earlier, can't really complain!'?
That's for the manager to decide - but without question he has the biggest engine in the team. So it's a tough call, but personally I'd play him. It's a good problem to have put it that way!
Henderson is playing ok. I really don't feel he deserves any abuse! What he lacks technically he makes up for in ball chases and his age. And unlike players in the past who had high levels of work rate (cough Spearing) has doesn't make howler of mistakes which loose us games. Let me just say now, I am a big fan of The Lucas and Gerrard partnership. However in the games we have lost this season it was done to a lack of drive in the centre of midfield. When we have Henderson chasing and Coutinho's ability inside the team we control the tempo. However against Swansea: Gerrard and especially Lucas were outdone. Lucas this season (bar this game) has not really done it for me... He does not make many challenges in midfield and allows his defence to run deep thus putting pressure on our defenders (Toure I feel has been an outstanding save here). That being said: both Lucas and Gerrard today was fantastic for us. Lucas was back to making vital interceptions and lets not forget Gerrard's pass... I still think we are in a different league to this now when Coutinho plays though.

Good result.. Average performance.. 3 Points.. 2nd in the League.. I'll take that all day long and run to the next game.
I agree but when he is not playing well as he was not today he really should be taken off, however i acknowledge it was his run off the ball today that created the space for Suarez, so what do i know
