    Welcome back Luis.

    I think.

First one was welcoming his son into the world. Named him Ben I think <ok> top name.

Initial reaction. Strange game. We were by far the better team but invited trouble for ourselves. Too many players seemed to be going trough the motions and there was a strange lethargy developing in the 2nd half.

Obviously glad we won. Glad we didn't manage to throw it away - again!

When they scored I thought we responded very well, keeping the ball nicely and quieting the stadium down, controlling the game without creating much. Skrtel and Sahko looked very assured today, and really good to see Sturridge and Suarez linking up and causing mayhem.. Just need to keep them both fit until we can get Coutinho back in the side. <ok>

First we were a one man team now we are a two man team that cant function without cout. So if we take those three out we are the same as Sunderland, well duh!
Lets take xavi, iniesta and messi from Barca :)
Cant wait till we are an 11 man team
Very happy with todays result, the performances are hopefully yet to come.

Positives - Suarez, Sturridge & Moses
Negatives - Sterling (Awful) & Henderson (What does he do?) Can we sell both in January?

Sterling needs to go on loan. And hendo is worth keeping as a squad player, but played midfield. He's not versatile enough for wing/wing-back

Harsh on Henderson. He's playing right wingback in this formation.

But what does he do, every time i see him he plays the ball backwards, we need someone who can take players on.

Henderson has been very solid so far this season. Poor game tonight but honestly who had a decent one? Sturridge and Suarez maybe, the rest were poor or average. It's the change in tactics, we seem to have new ones every week. But they'll get used to it, and most players had some positives.

He's a central midfielder, it's not his job to take players on.

Alright 'sunshine'. I'm guessing you feel aggrieved by Howard Webb's performance. Pretty sure I didn't suggest he was good for you either.

I wasn't overly impressed with our performance today. Our forward play was great, but I felt that a better team than Sunderland would've exploited our defence. Overall it was a decent performance and a good three points, but I do think we can and will play better than that.

He has a good engine, will cover a lot of ground that Lucas and Gerrard won't in the middle. Works hard closing down the opposition and generally has a good eye for a one touch pass.

    Wum?

Hendo has the engine and desire that is perfect for our team - It allows others to do all the fancy stuff. For me Hendo should be one of the first names on the team sheet every week.

Really? He is lost on the wing and is clearly a midfielder, so who does he replace, coutinho? No, Gerrard? No, Lucas? no
