I agree with the highlighted section, I think he should just build a new stadium in Melton. People cant have it both ways they EITHER lose the stadium OR lose the name.
Can we just pause for a minute because if I've got it wrong, I'll admit it. My bits are in bold. Robo's are not. I don't think I've used lose incorrectly, so have I?
2:20pm Plenty of say No leaflets on the floor from the Walton street car park end . Plenty of fans just walked passed and never wanted a leaflet. These are the best times ever as a supporter of Hull City / Hull Tigers. As far as I am concerned the Allams are our best owners ever. If they want to call us Hull Tigers that's fine by me.. And I'm not a plastic, part timer, wum , etc My opinion of the Allams is the total opposite of mr Ferryman.
Ps ...as to the AFC bit I can honestly say iv never told anyone I support hull city AFC. Hull City yes The Tigers yes But never Hull City AFC
The whole site including the all weather surfaces, the indoor arena etc cost over 40 mill. The actual stadium was probably about 28 million.
"If they want to call us Hull Tigers that's fine by me.." Why? Cos Assem Allam lent us a lot of money?
Good job he did , or we might be playing Buxton this season with a brand new name to boot. AFC HULL Kingston upon Hull AFC
Ok, yes why not. They have done wonders for the club in my opinion. If they want to change the name , that's fine by me.
What line do the Allam's need to cross before you change your mind? Move out of Hull? Lose Hull out of the name altogether?
i hope he does move out - he'll lose most of the fans - only 1000 to 2000 travel to away matches anyway even if its as close as Scunthorpe - he'll soon find out what moving over 10 miles out is like - dont fall for it - its a silly idle threat - he isnt going to spend another £50million on a stadium - he couldnt even afford Shane Long he had to renege on the deal
But we haven't moved out of Hull have we. And they haven't took Hull out of the name. Anyway il shut it ok... I'm NOT going to have a go at those who disagree with me. Ferryman does seem a wind up merchant though . I really love not606 And I like everyone on here to be honest Good luck to the anti name changers.
As a supporter of the name change and of Papa and am trying to think of what would turn me against him. and at the moment I can't think of anything
you do talk crap - are Portsmouth playing Buxton - they owe well over £150 million - City didn't and if the Allams didn't come along then someone else would even if the circumstances of the purchase were different etc - I really dont see this mass 'take me ' hysteria for Allam - except for the 'feed my ego' payment everything else has been shrouded in controversy - Barmby, Pearson, the Whitely pictures, the promotion celebration, the name change, the dealings with the council, the pathetic threat to relocate etc etc - if that was any other owner people would clamour for his head -you'd have a real problem living in Newcastle cos undoubtedly you would be one of the pro Ashley brigade - ie its his club he can do what he wants and iyou'd take it where the sun doesnt shine
Different opinions that's all But from passionate supporters on both sides. If the Allams had sold off our best players. Brought in a **** manager Brought in a bunch of **** players And didn't care if we went up or went down I'd hate them. But they sure haven't done that have they. Peace
Whitley pictures ? Never heard of him Couldn't give a dam about FC Is that who you support ferryman ?
