Is it worth bringing Hooper on soon?

 

We are Max, just our final ball is a bit sloppy, this referee is absolutely awful playing a home advantage when it's a free kick.

 

Strange! Elmander for RVW

 

Cant see anything but a norwich win here, stoke have been a huge disappointment. You guys have done hard graft well, both sides have been poor in the final thirds.

 

Elmander not Hooper? Clearly a tactical change but would still have rather seen Hooper. Maybe in the last 10 mins.

I suppose Elmander will deal better with the likes of Huth etc.

I'm actually surprised he hasn't brought on Johnson if we're defending a lead.

Now that we have Elmander on we seem to be constantly playing balls in behind!

 

Hope Tettey is back to the player he was last autumn. He and Fer would be a good combo if he is.

 

okay - I'll be the first to admit I expected nothing today, so a happy bunny and pleasantly surprised. Ahead of the next two games, I think we and CH really needed today

A good week for us

 

First half - Great pressure and intensity, Stoke couldn't live with us and should have probably gotten another goal.
Second Half - Solid defending aided by a Stoke side with no ideas on how to break us down. Would have been nice to see us give it a little more but a win is a win!

Overall, very impressed. Hughton picked the right team for the job and they played out of their skins for 45 minutes. Hopefully we can give Chelsea a good go next week but this win was priceless to take away that pressure.
