What an unexpected set of results today. Man Utd in the bottom half of the table, Hull and Southampton challenging near the top, Cardiff getting a last minute winner against Fulham. It's still early in the season but it is looking likely that the title could be heading to London and could Utd even struggle to make the Champions League places. I'd like to think that the way we are playing should enable us to achieve a top-half finish this season. Let's hope for a win tomorrow.
Quite right P Potter! Arsenal are going well the rest? iffy at best. IF we get the 3pts on Sunday we're right in the mix and that would be a fantastic start, given our difficult start to the season. We were chatting about Sunday's game last night over a pint. On of me mates said "If only" Liverpool should have had a pt, Citeh we battered but unlike Villa didn't score. That would have meant another 3 pts. Always thought it would be a tough season for all teams. To see Utd, struggling does not really surprise me tbh. I'm sure Moyes will sort things out but right now, ANYONE in the top half could finish top 6. Funny ole game as Greaves said.
Early days yet and I think there will be plenty of surprises still to come, just hope we keep picking points up as I really think we need a change up front to maximise the potential we are showing.
Greetings from what has been a sunny France. Yes mighty interesting today. I am honking the way it goes that the bottom 3 at the end of the season will need 40 points or more. At the moment I am thinking that Sunderland will be down there with also West Ham, Norwich, and Palace. I was also looking at Hull fixtures and after Xmas they have a tough time as they face Liverpool twice in 5 or 6 weeks. I appreciate I a looking over shoulders at the moment but again it is important we win against Norwich who have been really inept on their last two visits and I hope we make it 3 wins in a row. Just to keep Capital Canary quiet and also canary_max if he is going to make comment. I am next at the Chelsea game but will keeping a keen eye on what is going on.
Its gonna be a season with lots of upsets and there is no stand out team at the moment. City are running hot and cold, Chelsea are tryin to change the way they play with the special one and at the moment dont look anything special, I get the feeling alot of teams fancy there chances against utd this season which hasnt happened to much over the yers. Liverpool I dont think are strong enough over the full season to challenge and Arsenil havent got strength in depth. One outsider cud be spurs there a bit of an unknown quantity but look like they cud break into the top 4 at least. I do get the feeling its a very open league and everyone feels like they can beat everyone else so more teams will just go for it a little more. One things for sure its looking like it could be a good un a classic maybe
Well an observation from this afternoons Norwich game watching a very inept performance from the Potters. Mark my words you will be down there in the mix at the bottom come the end of the season simply cos you have Mark Sparkless Hughes in charge probably the worst manager QPR have had in living memory.
` so what about the other 5 games where we have played well?, Stoke fans arent as fickle as yourself. Just because he did a poor job at QPR doesnt mean he will do a bad job for us. Harry Rednapp got you relegated and I bet you were one of those slating him, and now youre top of the league hes the best thing since sliced bread, Fickle doesnt come close. If Pulis was still here we would be rock bottom now im sure Up the potters
