    Good morning chaps and chapesses.

No thread yet and to be fair i'm not surprised. Seems like everyone took the bookies for a fair few quid yesterday so in my experience it's usually a good idea to consolidate the day after rather than going in again to play up winnings.

However, there are three meetings today at Epsom, Musselburgh and the Curragh and the Irish have got their priorities right once again by putting on a decent show when there is very little competition elsewhere. They're not thick those fellows across the Irish Sea.

I'm really looking forward to this card this afternoon.

The Weld Park at 2.40 is interesting but i couldn't be confident about anything. John Oxx has so many hyped horses that don't perform that it is almost alarmingly frequent. My Titania could easily fall into that bracket. She won lto but nothing has come out of that race and done anything yet. Having said that the ones filling the positions that day haven't turned out again yet. At 7/4 i don't see any reason to back that horse today. It looks a no bet race but the two I would be edging towards are Tarfasha and Minorette. Tarfasha has the strongest form in the book but 5/2 isn't overly appealing whereas Minorette is an each way at 5/1 and looks to be getting a bit better with each run and has already logged a decent performance at Listed level.

The listed race at 3.15 is, in my view, Guerre's for the taking. I'm not having that 16l win for Shining Emerald lto.

I really fancied Eye of the Storm (5.20 Curragh) the last two runs. He was second to Missunited the first time and I lost a packet. I won it back (thank god) next time out when he sauntered clear of what was effectively a two runner race. This is a tough contest today but i think i'll be celebrating a second win on the bounce when he accounts for Missunited and Unaccompanied around 5.26pm.

Are we all having a sleep in this morning?

    Morning Bob.

I've a fancy for Johnny Murtagh to be the main man again today on Altrusitic in the 3.45 an turn over the O'Brien hotpot. Value seems to have diminshed somewhat though due to Gary O'Brien picking him out.

Otherwise I note the market support for Verse of Love in the 3.55 at Epsom then note it's Hugh Taylor's pick, which explains it.

Act Your Shoe Size looks interesting at Musselburgh (3.55) and is supported for the second time this week.

This race coming up at Curragh is interesting. Weld has won two of the last three. Seems like whatever wins will have to put in a fairly decent run.

No 10 in the race is very interesting - she's a twin that has made it to the racecourse (she has a twin brother). I'm sure PN will confirm how rare it is for a) a thoroughbred mare to have twins and b) that one or both make it to the racecourse

Weld wins it again. Always pays to follow races in races they obviously target.

A massive, big balls €0.50 win bet on Flight Risk in the next at Curragh (or is it "The Curragh"? I never know) - emptying the small change from the account

One small bet for me today in the shape of 5.45 Musselburgh The Kicking Lord 14/1 from my notebook. Definitely a risky proposition but hopefully if he breaks on terms he can run well.

The Kicking Lord is definitely an apt name for the horse anyways!
