    Here's what I did:

    IN:

    Benzema: £8m
    N'Zogbia: £10.5m
    Srna: £17.5m
    Moussa Sissoko: £12.5
    Stekelenberg: £10m

    OUT:

    Krul: £3m
    Smith: £2.8m
    Raylor: Loan
    McLoven: £1m
    Ranger: £4m
    Vuckic: £2

    How did you afford all of those? That's just shy of £60m but you only have a £20m budget and £12.8m from player sales? Also, I can't get rid of Smith on a free let alone get £2.8m. I usually sell Lover for £1.5, Shola for similar.

    Pay in instalments over 48 months and ensure when selling players that you negotiate the payment up front.

    Dont play as the toon but Ryan Taylor's got player of the season 2 years running for them on my save <yikes>

    How far are you into your season? Friend of mine did that installments thing and when he had a look at the finances the club was nearly bankrupt <laugh>

    Nah I was fair, I tried to make Liverpool get relegated, but it crashed after 1st season (had 1 one game as each team and then holidayed the rest)

    Yeah that has happened to me before but only when I've underachieved. If you finish in relatively high up then you get plenty of money coming in, also I'll be offloading Barton, Nolan, Colo etc at the end of this season to reduce wage bill.....sound familiar?!

    I'm terrible at this game. In my first season I managed to steady Newcastle in 11th, and won the Carling Cup. Lots of injuries to a lot of my main players so not too bad. Kinda stopped playing after this.

    Might have to start again, dont like coming back to old saves on games...

    I only load England generally, makes it run quicker but there are a few obscure players and staff that don't appear in the game.

    thats the limit of my laptop to play quickly but if i could i'd also go for:
    Netherlands
    Ukraine
    Russia
    Portugal

    I've got all of the major European ones, and quite a few minor ones which I never buy players from (<doh>) and the MLS, but forgot the Brazilian League.

    I've got most of the European leagues except a few minor ones which I'm not bothered about. The Brazilian League is a MUST if you want talented youngsters at cheap prices. I don't bother with any of the Asian ones to be honest, most of there players are very average or simply not that good.

    I still get random players from Brazil who turn out to be class. Got 2 and one's already one of the worlds best DM's and the other is a potentially brilliant striker. Forgot Argentina as well.
