Now I know that strengthening the team is our number one priority but setting that aside for a minute what improvements would you like to see at the Liberty bearing in mind that Huw has some wedge to spend. For me itâs a decent HD big screen or two in place of those piddly little things we have now.
Got to be a must - has the Premier League got any legislation about this or anything? Is there sponsorship rights that must be met when it comes to big screens? Either way, we've got the cash now, so can't see any reason not to upgrade to a few big screens! If the Ospreys can't afford them, they don't have to turn them on for their matches!
I'm not 100% sure, but I thought we had to have the bigger screens for team news etc. Blackpool had one installed when they went up!! Must say that's what I want, can't see the piddly things we have.
10,000 new seats wouldn't go a bloody miss! On subject - A big screen either end of the pitch, better bars and staff.
Cracking idea, well up for that. Will be great to see some of the stupid decisions last year on a big screen, make the refs think abit when they see thier stupid antics played a few times. Would get my vote
Just siffted throught the Premier League rules, it's not a requirement of there's. BUT your can't show any controversial incidents that may bring the game into disrepute. So no replays of potential penalties etc. Sorry CRCJack!!!
A railway station near the stadium , though I know it's not up to us, maybe tunnels under the main road, really getting to the stadium is a huge problem at times
Knowing how 'careful' the swans board can be they would probably just get us magnifying glasses for a small screen
why waste thousands of pounds for some fashion accessories that serve no purpose, if anyone has any problems seeing the whole match at the liberty should pay a visit to spec-savers.. we have better things to spend our money on like players, academy and better pies....
Maybe we could do a sponsorship deal with specsavers? And fans with so many stubs get special deals with them
Well if the Premiership have no rules to have them - I'll tell you why we should get them. The amount of advert space they create is endless. If a big screen is installed at the stadium, where will the majority of the 20,000 people be looking when the ball isn't in play, before the match, and during half time? At the big screen! You could sell off advert time on the big screen for different rates depending on match time (half time/15mins before KO - top rate; during match - lower rate). The things would have paid for themselves within a year, and considering that the Premiership has no rules on displaying official sponsorship on the big screen, all the money generated from the adverts would come directly into the club (maybe a cut to Stadco as well). Big screens would not be a waste of money. They would generate future income - and if there's ever a time to cash in on potential big money advertising deals, it's while we're in the Premier League. We should do it now while the money, and interest, is there for them to be successful!
