I couldn't possibly position him, because I've not recorded the contributions of the vast majority of players in Europe (I can, for sure, say that I wouldn't swap Robbie Brady for Giroud however, because the former isn't a striker). Opta do record the contributions of all players though. As I say, I can't judge whether or not their mathematical weighting of each players' contributions is accurate, but it strikes me as at least being a decent guide and I'll trust it more than subjective fans.

Anyone watching MOTD? Did anyone notice Linekar taking a slight at Arsenal fans by his constant references to fickle when talking about Ramsey etc. The thing is he's performances warranted some of the criticism he received last year...not the booing but paying fans have the right to express an opinion. Everyone else is allowed to do it but when it comes Arsenal it's fickle .....a convenient band wagon for the jug eared twat to jump on to in order to compensate for having to praise Arsenal.
if a player is playing crap for a long period , and the fans say he is crap , then he plays a whole lot better and they say he is NOT crap . Thats not fickle , its just stating the facts.
