Short answer: I don't know

What I do know is that almost no one nationally takes Hull Tigers or Hull City Tigers seriously. For them we are still 'Hull' (see BBC Premier League table for details) as it's brief and to the point, and for opposing fans and journalists they scoff at 'Hull Tigers' whilst pitying our fans.......they make a point of emphasising that they will call us Hull City, as most are attuned to the crass creeping banalisation of our game for commercial ends.

 

I thought this was at least round 3?

Thank you for the 1st statement which answered my question. We will never agree on the name change argument and I love the fact that you know the mind-set and opinions of all opposition fans and journalists, and as for the not being taken seriously - that started last time we went up.

And for information purposes - how many leaflets and badges were produced?

 

Looked like a great response to the leaflets, badges on loads of fans and a few leaflets found their way under Ehab's Ferrari wipers!

So I am not accused of being fair - OLM I have read the report on The Guardian website. And namechange just noticed the insult to Hull regarding Capital of culture at the end of the article

 

I wish all those against it, all the luck in the world.. I just hope that AA's continued ownership is not under threat if the name change gets blocked. Maybe he could protest against the councils involvement with the stadium by.......................... ooh I don't know.. building a new stadium in Melton.

 

Why? Neither you, nor any of the other apathetic ****s, have explained why you continue to support a man who is a) willing to use you as a pawn in his pathetic games with the council, and b) lied blatantly about his intentions by saying 'Hull Tigers' was ONLY A PET NAME
