Shows how good the game was if a report on Final Score when it was still 0-0 was about the East Stand instead of what was happening on the pitch.

Perhaps the East Stand is more interesting but beating a team with the ability to stop us is more important at the end of the season.

Sounds like a well ground out result if not a great game. Need a few of those in a season. Another invaluable three points!

I demand a recount!! They clearly didn't count my split personalities or the voices in my head.

well, that was frustrating and dull, and really not great...but 3 points is 3 points! I'll take a frustratingly ugly win any day of the week (though i prefer the pretty football kinda easy win tbh!)

Tough game on Tuesday too...let's hope for another 3 points!

The voices used to sound as if they were grinding granite stones, but now they all have Italian accents.

Happy for two reason, more eloquently put by AK. So just read above please.

Also, Burnley are the surprise package. Fair play to Mr Dyche.

Not the best of games, but a home win and a clean sheet will do for me!

Strange game today - both teams tried to play good football, neither quite managed it: too many misplaced passes, miscontrols, rubbish (or no) shooting... then someone some how managed to rise above the abject mediocrity! We didn't win - they lost.

A draw might have been fairer but then we should have won at Blackpool rather than lost so its swings and roundabouts.

Certainly a day for the defence who did a solid job against some tricky front men.

Wigan will have their complaints about the penalty - maybe fair.

Good goal by Battocchio - another nice change by Zola.

Job done and again good support from the 1881 (and others)
