One thing i noticed from reading the papers this morning, Robert Pires is back training with us. Surely not?
With the squad so thin and so many injuries ion midfield an experienced head to come on for the end of a game could be useful. Not sure about starting though. Any news on the fitness tests for Ramsey and Flamini yet?
I hadn't been awake for long when i posted and didn't realise it had come across so harshly My apologies good sir.
You wouldn't call the med team inept on the balance of the current injuries. But on the weight of season after season with injury after injury that goes on and on anyone can see that something isn't right somewhere along the line. In my opinion it's a lack of weight training and muscle strength, but I'm sat in an Ikea carpark in a suit and have just eaten a chicken & stuffing sandwich, so anything is possible.
Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Flamini, Ozil, Gnabry, Giroud Starting XI
I would have gone Monreal on the LW, Jack playing wide right. Gnabry must be knackered after Wednesday?
This game will be a true test to see how far Arsenal have come. In the past, we have squandered opportunities like this. If we win this, it will be a huge step in the right direction.
Why did giroud just stop when tackled on the edge of the swansea box? He could have won the ball back
