I'm thoroughly confused by these pizzas, we don't even have them and we are the ones who are supposed to be fat ****s.

No. Went to Oktoberfest. Drank beer. Eagle's Nest, Beer. Stayed in a dorm on a campsite (cheapskate).
Nice one on Oktoberfest, I had a very nice painted ceramic jug of beer brought for me bk from there couple of yrs ago. Beers gone out of it but still got the pot, very nicely painted And Eagles nest v int too, anything WW2 related really fascinates me. Thats set in really picturesque surroundings as well Must get myself to Germany one day
Eagle's Nest is fantastic. Spectacular surroundings, perched 6000 ft or so in the Alps. Scary road going up and down from it. It's too dangerous for the public to drive so you have to park down near Berchtesgaden and get a special bus. We had really great weather so the view from the top was amazing. Worth googling it to have a look at some of the pictures. Also had a look at what remains of Hitler's bunker nearby. Eerie. The only time I ever go near lager is on the continent because I can't stand our stuff. Oktoberfest is great. Thousands of people from all over the world all getting properly pissed but I've yet to see any trouble there. Just can't imagine that happening here. I think Australia must be empty given the amount of them are are crawling all over Europe.
Going to be driving through Germany next year on the way to Austria, we'll be staying one night in Germany. I've only ever been to Munich train station before so looking forward to it.
The policing at Oktoberfest is really good. When you leave the car park, each driver is breathalysed. If the light goes red, the driver is told to park the car and take a taxi. Only if the driver refuses do the police take the matter any further. That to me is a brilliant approach to policing drink driving. The atmosphere at the site is always good and Schwabing is just so good for eating, drinking and music.
If she didn't support United she'd be like the perfect woman. Fit, good with numbers, into football and other sports.
