On Saturday 28th September the Chairboys travel north to play Rochdale at Spotland, who are on a 3 match winning run, but with our own winning run coming to an end last weekend we go into the game looking to extend our unbeaten run to 7 games and avenge our last visit to Spotland back in February, when we were mauled 4-1 after scoring first, but we must avenge that defeat without Deano, league 2 joint leading scorer, so where will the goals come from! do we play McClure and Craig up front or Kuffour and JP who both scored in the midweek B&B win, then there's the problem of how do we accommodate the returning Josh Scowen into midfield, do we leave out our second leading scorer Max Kretzschmar and can anyone tell me what score that would be at Scrable finally will Charles Dunne return at left back when we have only conceded 3 in his 5 game absence these are the questions only Gaz has the answers to Here's my 11 Ingram, McCoy, Jonhson, Doherty, Dunne, Kretzschmar, Scowen, Lewis, Knott, Wood, Craig PS 1-1 Draw for me
That looks a good line up. Craig should be able to hold the ball up and bring the likes of Strechmark, Woody and Knott into scoring positions. I just hope it doesn't mean they start lumping it into the air like they were doing on Saturday for a while.
think craig or McClure will be the interesting choice, gaz could elect to partner the 2 but I think with a central midfield of knott scowen and lewis we can dominate the midfield easily. my main worry is where the goals will come from in this side, without deano we do look worryingly short, McClure can score if he gets the service, craig isent really a goalscorer but a good striker. anyway, in gaz we trust, COYB
Just summoned up the courage to watch the FLS highlights of Saturday's game and their second goal should not have stood as in the build up Billy Knott received an blatant elbow to the face that should have seen the Dale player red carded and that should have been a game changer
well this game went well..... ah well, we cant win every week but I don't know what im more surprised about : us conceding 3 in 15 minutes then no more, or jo kuffour actually scoring
