    Team: (if Brady's out)

    McGregor;
    Rosie; Davies; Bruce, Figueroa;
    Elmo; Thudd; Livers; Quinn;
    Aluko; Graham

    Harper; Sagbo; Prossy; Gedo; Meyler; Boyd; Faye;

    Prediction: 2-1 (or 1-1)

    Brady was looking good from what SB said so him in for Quinn but the rest is spot on. Definitely time to recognise that Elmo isn't a full back but is genuinely effective in a more attacking role down the right.

    For some really annoying reason I can't put my finger on, I have a really bad feeling about today.

    Don't think we will have three strikers on the bench. I would drop Graham to the bench, think he is trying too hard and ****ing it up. Maybe bring him on at 60mins see if he can be an impact sub

    Graham has impressed me in the last couple of games - he's getting in some great positions. He's only not scored due to a couple of decent saves and snatching at shots rather than relaxing. He'd start for me.

    Am rather uneasy about the fact that we seem to be going into this match as favorites with the media and pundits.

    Could turn out to be a huge banana skin.

    ps: If you wanted to make a cheap point with the title of this post West Ham is not AFC.
    Full Title is: West Ham United FC.

    Now that we know Downing is fit and likely to start it will mean West Ham will have 2 quick wingers (the other been Jarvis).

    Our full backs need to be on their game.........

    When’s the last time we beat a team managed by Allardyce?

    I’d guess at Blackpool at home (94 or 95) – Mason scored the winner (his only goal I think).

    Davies is captain, as far as I can remember, it's the first time?

    Feeling confident today, but then again I always do. West Ham can't score but don't concede either but I get the feeling that we'll score early and they'll push on looking for an aqualizer and we'll beat them easily. I'm going for 4-1. Aluko 2, Graham 1 and Thudd 1. I'm in a really good mood cos it's my birthday tomorrow and I'm on the piss tonight.

    Does that pre-season friendly against NUFC we won 1-0 count?

    I think it could go either way, we could play excellent again and win a comfortable 3-1. However, if he's up for it, I can see Ravel Morrison running the show and them winning 0-2.

    The number 3 keeps cropping up today for some reason.

    3-0 or 3-3

    In what way does 3 keep popping up?

    I forgot about the NUFC friendly in ‘07 too. Around the time Andy Carroll was going to be loaned to us but instead went to PNE.

    Hoping for 2-0 but feelings it's going to be a draw. Fat Sam will be boring and strangle the life out of the game.

    He's in my FPL team!!

    If we lose Brady and they have Downing fit it's more likely a 1-1
