Very true Ste, think we'll get hammered but the atmosphere and seeing Messi is why I want to go (we're driving all the way up from Oxford)! Then again you never know what can happen there, beaten Man Utd, AC Milan and of course Barca over the past few years!

I like Code of Honour and Tha'ir as my Cambridgeshire picks. Always a difficult one to solve though.

Vorda, Zain Eagle, Xanthos, Man from Seville and Short Queeze is my small Canadian today for interest.

I like a few on AW later with Wotalad, Carrera, Full Day, Meet me Halfway the ones of interest.

I'm going for a double on Vorda and Sky Lantern got 2-1 on each which seemed fair enough to me.

    15:50 Newmarket - Queensberry Rules

(Small bet at 14/1 with Wm.H. just to make the afternoon interesting. Usual cavalry charge but 9f might just be the perfect distance for this horse).

    GL all today! <ok>

Speaking of horses that should be odds on or evens.. Why is Berkshire around the 11/8 mark? Absolutely bolted in, in a hot race and the 2nd 3rd and 4ths have all brought in winners since.

Going to double up with Vorda

I would be worried about the ground for Educate... I see Roto hasnt tipped it up and he's normally keen on the horse. Also Sky Lantern has been on the go for some time and Im not 100% convinced about that one winning today.. I think Integral or Just the Judge in that race.

Good luck with those selections though.

Back to a mile I think Sky lantern should be winning this, hughes on board has to be worth an extra lengths aswell. Sky lantern has the better of both integral and JTJ this season and I cant see them reversing the form.

Very rare foray into the betting arena these days but I am in interested to see how Just The Judge would fair in a small field tactical affair having been a gallant runner up to Sky Lantern off fast paces both times, and the big striding filly might be able to cause Elusive Kate some problems today (especially on faster going with Kate having most of her form on softer) and gallop these into submission for a tight victory. 7/1 is a nice price.

Good luck to anyone backing in that minefield handicap today- you are all mad! <laugh>

Yes should but you never know in horse racing .... i would be more confident with Just the Judge if the ground was good or worse and trainer is in fabulous form. Also Stoute is in good form and i get the impression the great man rates Integral.

    A fascinating race in prospect...

Ooooof Mr Bass had me sweating a bit there <laugh> good start though, needs to brush up his jumping.

The second horse Fox Norton has run a cracker under the penalty. First 2 long way clear.

    Newmarket 3.15pm. Integral.. 7/1 GP E.W

I cant ignore this one ... i really do think this horse is extremely highly rated and interesting that Stoute put him in the Nassau stakes on its 3rd run. It was a messy race and Integral didnt get the best of runs and wasnt that far behind Sky Lantern that day..

I think the race is gonna be very tactical and im not sure Sky Lantern will have the race run to suit. So Im banking on a bit of an upset..

I thought the 3rd town mouse did very very well, lost about 10 lengths or more at the start trying to unseat. Would have been close at the end if that didnt happen. Nice winner though, reeled fox norton in very nicely
