lol...don't know why but I've always thought he was further out when he scored this one. Must have been my perspective from the old Grange End.

Remember the match well, only a teenager then, but the crowd were whistling up for half time ! One of the Spurs fans was standing on top of one of the dugouts orchestrating the Spurs fans, and then the crowd were whistling for the final whistle from about the 75th minute. what a game what an atmosphere. I think we beat Wrexham 3-2 in the next round with a last minute Buchanan winner.

No Sussex - that was the Spurs fans. Nastiest lot I have ever seen. They were picking up the police dogs (well one dog anyway) outside and throwing them at City fans who they trapped in the Grange.

Cotterill, would be fine if you had him for a month. after that he gives up and doesnt put the effort in. He put the single worst performance i have ever seen in a swans shirt this year at leicester. It was pathetic. For a month maybe, any longer, forget him. I for one hope he is outed elsewhere. But loans from us. Never say never guys.

Never say Never is sound advise , especially after a dozen guys leave the team for various reasons . Cardiff City Football Club & the new manager have a huge job ahead of them , hope the fans cut them a little slack because it may take awhile to get the team back where they were with all the new bodies .

I think this is where Swansea & Cardiff have the edge over other closely related teams in the football league.
For example, I can not imagine Norwich loaning a player to Ipswich or vice versa but because your two clubs are a bit more isolated (i.e both Welsh fighting in a predominantly English league (trying to choose my words carefully here)) I think they would be more willing to help each other out a bit more and fight together against the 'common enemy' for the 'good of the country'

Maybe a bit nieve but hopefully some of you will see what I am trying to say.

I take your point Thai but whats the saying...No friends in business? Just my opinion but if a loan or transfer of player/s between two rival clubs makes good business sense and was beneficial to both clubs then I don't think rivalry would come into it. Even more so now as neither ourselves or Ipswich are in direct competition with you or the Swans.

As for the fight against the 'common enemy'...thats always been a two pronged attack and long may it continue :)

Any loaner from Cardiff to Swansea or vice versa would have to play like Messi or Roy Keane in his prime to gain acceptance at the other club. And with the list suggested earlier there is little chance of that in anyone's wildest dreams - even yours Breezey.

There have been players to cross the divide but not for a while and the infamous Dimi Dropalot I think came from his prime club, Coventry.

I don't think any of those names mentioned are good enough for us. Obviously, they have a few players that would slot straight into our team such as Williams, Sinclair, Rangel, De Vries & Dyer but there wasn't too much between us last season.

If you had the same team as you had last season , I wouldn't have put the article up mjw, I would have wanted to borrow players from you hehe!! . I think we have overlooked the value of Beattie . Ipswich was onto him last season but it didn't happen . Somebody would get a good , probably cheap deal for Beattie . All we did was complain about him being unable to stay healthy & when he was healthy , he rode the bench . I'm not sure where Beattie will play next , but I bet he plays very well where he does play .

Appreciate the honesty haha :) However, if Swans fringe players weren't good enough last season why would they be good enough now? The Malaysians are aiming for promotion again and have promised to back some new signings so I don't think we'll be desperate :)

"I believe the Malaysians are coming forward this season with very little ambition & cash for your team"

Wow another Jack who knows all and everything about Cardiff....Let's just wait and see...They haven't done much wrong so far.

Siam - don't forget that Ladyboi (where is the obnoxious little jerk anyway?) has privileged access to our boardroom so knows everything that goes on in there and spreads the word to his fellow Jack fans. <doh>

BfB - please don't invite that little twat across here. I got totally pissed off on 606 with him and benni (he was as much to blame) spouting so much garbage at each other.

They destroyed so many threads with their long winded borefests that I abandoned that forum altogether for the last couple of months in favour of this one.

The LAST thing we need on here is for that to start up again. Let's enjoy the chat and the laughs with each other without that pointless diatribe!!

(sorry to be so serious :emoticon-0105-wink:)

You embody the spirit of the MOG.

Didn't mean to invite the little sh1t, just remarked on his absence. Yes, Benni did get over embroiled (in a wordy way) with the cross dressing koi toi but that apart Benni is a good guy and makes some good contributions.

Never doubted benni as a good guy for one minute - he was just being sucked in as a "straight man" to the clown prince and fed the little twat. Starvation would have been far the better policy.

As far as being a MOG is concerned - I invented it remember? :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl
