Hughton will be sacked if they don't win against us.

Doesn't seem to be fair and there is no obvious reason why he is facing it!

That would be yet another ridiculous knee-jerk action if Norwich were to sack him should we beat them on Sunday. OK, they haven't had a particularly good start to the season but 5 or 6 games in is stupid. Chris Hughton is a good manager who has done OK in the past. I personally don't think it will happen even if Norwich do lose to us.

Their squad is good and has depth and strength in each position (Fer etc)

Don't make any sense to me, it's not as if they've been hammered by anyone.

Most of our fan base are not inclined to believe this. It is true that he is under a little pressure following the loss to Villa last week, just one win this season and a pretty awful record in this calendar year - but most are inclined to think it is still too early to judge him.

Having said that, if we lose the next 3 - Stoke away (very likely), Chelsea home (also very likely) & Arsenal away (also, also very likely) then the next game, Cardiff home, will perhaps determine whether he gets the axe or not.

I, for one, cannot imagine the board reacting to the next 3 results as they are incredibly hard games for any team. If we do lose on Sunday, as he does get the boot, I would say that was perhaps a little more than unfair on him.

That would be awful if it happened! It would also mean that getting your best result against the Saints has a price! <yikes>

He's a good manager, did very well last season (kept Nowrich up) which is what (most) Managers aim for in the Premier League. Was hard done by at Newcastle IMHO and whatever happens the next few games. It would be ridiculous. Hughes was badly treated at Man City and so far at Stoke. He is showing just what a good Manager he is. SACK Houghon and it could be even worse for Norwich City. I wish them well (after Sunday) that is. He's also a nice guy and seem's genuine enough to me.

Me too, and their squad is great.

Redmond is looking great, so is Wolfswinkel and Fer.

Makes me think if Sunderland went down we could make some improvements at their expense *cough* sign Gardner, Altidore and Larsson from them *cough*

It would be nice to see some of our surplus midfielders go their way for a change

I'd take Altidor. Gardener is decent, not sure if he'd add much to the team though, and I don't rate Larson, good set pieces, not a great deal.
Still dissapointed we never signed Diouf. With the money spent on Bony and Osvaldo, I think he's about the same quality, for 7m that sounds like A good deal.
