Have you seen the guy post? He is on a one man crusade against Hughton's Norwich. I don't mean bigot as in racist (I would have said racist then), rather I mean, simply, that Guru is bigoted in that he has a one-eyed partiality when it comes to everything Norwich and is consistently trying to belittle, wum and generally stir.

Guru is a bigot and an unpleasant piece of work.

Actually rob im not totally bigoted against, i went on record when lambert was in charge to say that he was probably the most impressive young manager in the game, and i go on record now to say that you probably have the ceo in game at the moment in mcnally.

You are correct in those facts, yet i probably watched more championship football in that season than you did, also of course brum fans would want hughton back, look at the state they are in with lee clark.

Listen what i will say about hughton is he is probably a very good coach, just a very poor and dour manager who's main tactic is to stifle the opposition rather than play expansive game of football.

I assumed you meant 'bigoted' as in what it means - i.e. intolerant of any other view.

Although I often don't agree with Guru's viewpoints, I wouldn't say he's bigoted, just speaks his mind. As to whether he's a WUM or not, the jury's out.

Watching Ipswich every week might equal more in quantity, but it does not in quality. It also does nothing for your credentials in terms of assessing Hughton's Birmingham. Finally, it is a redundant argument whether you watched more or less championship football than me given that it is unrelated to the statement highlighted in bold.

The fact that the part highlighted in bold is contradicted by the positive statistics, and discredited by the fact that you have already admitted you are basing it on the match against Ipswich when Birmingham were at the end of a very long season with exhausted players. Given such an extraordinary contradiction, I can only assume that your previous protestations are entirely disingenuous. You know full well you are on a WUM campaign about Hughton. You are come across as profoundly bigoted and do the Ipswich fans on here no benefit.

    The free dictionary:

    big·ot (bgt)
    n.
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    [French, from Old French.]

That's the meaning I was using.

My issue with Guru is that this is not the case. His comments on Hughton and Norwich, as here, are entirely disingenuous and his every post is tailored to get a rise. He does not sincerely believe what he has posted above, unless he is a completely illogical moron (which I don'tthink he is, because he is at least intelligent enough to know how to WUM successfully).

No, no, the jury voted unanimously to convict eight years ago and he's done time, released and been sent back down again several times since.

Rob you seem to forget, i was saying the exact same things about hughton before he was appointed by norwich, so why would i say those things? Because i had a crystal ball and could see in the future that he would become your manager i presume. No, to be honest i would love for him to be given more time because i can see him taking you down, all im doing is passing my knowledge of the guy.

Also, my views are also shared in part by some of your own fans? Does that make them bigots?

Err, I can't "forget" because actually, you only said them on here after he was appointed, but this is utterly irrelevant because your assertion about his time at Birmingham is blatantly illogical. Stop bringing in trivial and irrelevant "knowledge bombs". This is why you are being disingenuous. And you know full well you are not "passing my knowledge of the guy" because (a) you have confessed that you have no knowledge to pass on (beyond the two matches against Ipswich) and (b) you are, as usual, on a WUMming campaign deliberately trying to stir a fight between Norwich posters so it is doubly disingenous. Your delight whenever there is a clash on here is a little bit sick to be honest and is incredibly childish.

    (a) they are not your views. You are transparently using the views of some fans in order to stir arguments.
    (b) your supposed views on his style based on his time at Norwich are shared by some fans (and certainly I am not exactly happy with how Hughton is doing), but you cannot possibly claim that Norwich fans share your views of his time at Birmingham, apart from the fact that I doubt any of them watched much of it.
    (c) no, because you have fundamentally misunderstood why you are a bigot.

    No.

The thing is, we are not actually disagreeing. Me saying you are disingenuous and you spouting more disingenuous wummery is actually more like an agreement.

I don't know why people are surprised that Ipswich fans are coming onto a Norwich board and engaging in a bit of wumming, shock, horror! , they obviously need a distraction from their joke of a manager, poor buggers.

Err, I thought it was pretty clear that I'm not surprised by Ipswich fans wumnming, rather I'm surprised that (a) Guru hasn't learnt his lesson and (b) that he continues to be a nasty, underhand piece of work. He doesn't partake in idle wummery of the harmless variety, he is out to cause trouble.

What trouble can he cause on a forum?, generally speaking a post on a forum doesn't affect me like that, especially if it's wumming. I tend not to give them the satisfaction.

OK, you obviously haven't been here when he was banned on previous occasions. Generally they don't bother me, but honestly, Guru is an nasty piece of work.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I am going to stick up for Guru here....well for a small part anyway.

Yes he did get banned, but the reason he was banned and by whom, will remain between us that know.
He did come on here and apologise for his rants that were part of the reason for his ban.

Yes, he can be a wum and yes, he does like to stir up trouble, but in all honesty it isn't anything that none of us have done before on their board, or possible would do if we were so inclined.

On a personal note, and please don't take this the wrong way Guru, I find Guru can be a funny, sometimes witty poster, who just happens to be a pain in the arse sometimes. A bit like piles if you want. A pain in the arse, but nothing too serious.

He is certainly not underhand in his wummery, it's pretty blatant to be honest.

If you want to see some proper foul, bigoted comments, and top class wummery, then pop over to the Swansea or Sunderland boards sometime and have a trawl through. Some of the posts on there make Guru look like a baby who is just learning to speak his first words (no offence meant there either Guru)

At the end of the day, if he goes overboard we can always ban him again.
