Everyone accepts that Glasgow is the real capital of Scotland. Edinburgh is so backward and still lives in the 1500's.
A rock in the Irish sea has managed to attract me with good employment, good schools, good hospitals and cheaper taxes which more than pay for it all (the Isle of Man government had a budget surplus last year). Scotland can't offer these incentives while the power to change things rests at Westminster (which is more interested in the city of London, than the peripherals of the UK with small populations).
