Shame they don't just ban all loans between clubs in the same league; to me it's ridiculous

Yes I agree. Gives an unfair advantage to the loaning team. Had an argument with my friend about this the other night. He said "why shouldn't your players give you an advantage even if they're not playing for you". I guess its a valid point but spoils the team identity a bit and I don't think its right for players to be used in that way. To me it amounts to manipulating a rivals team allowing them to beat every team in the league except you.

Err... because Puncheon wouldn't have been able to go to Palace, and a Championship club would hardly have been able to afford his wages. Which just illustrates how hard it was for Sharp to move to a club unless he dropped his demands.

That's the first time i've used the world famous 'OS' for a while, I forgot that it's a bit of a clusterfuck. I know it's better than the one we had before, but still, I can see why they put the hashtag on the Chapel end and not the Web Address.

Seems to be an issue with the website, never used to be that bad.

I've only seen the Reading and Southend websites recently, but they have the same issue.

It's due to the website provider, according to the media team.

I see Fantasy Football Scout has Puncheon in their line up for palace. Not a very good scout then!

I wonder if Saints couldn't run their own version of SaintsPlayer (which the website comes packaged with) at a similar price to whatever they pay. Probably contractually obligated by the Premier League. Grr.

I seem to remember pretty much all websites were taken over by one firm, probably on a long deal. It is why the all look so homegenous

    Not the Premier League, nope.

The PL allow clubs to run their sites however they wish, and have no official provider.

We're signed up to FLi, Football League interactive, a lot of the content on the site is managed by Perform, a media group and service provider.

However, they tie clubs into extremely long term deals with several clauses.

One of the side effects of Saints tying themselves up with the present provider is that if you can sign into the Saints player, you can sign into many others too. As mentioned many times before, and again today, you can sign into the Reading Player, and many others, if you want to see exclusives. If you get into this sort of thing it's a good idea to sign out before you go elsewhere to sign in. I found that out through a slightly worrying experience when I found I couldn't sign back into Saints, and I thought I'd been rumbled or something. However, there was no rumbled case at all. There is just a maximum amount of sites you can be signed into at any one point, so make a point of signing out if you want to sign into another, to play safe.

Here's a link to the list of all the clubs you should be able to sign into: http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/FLinteractive

Saints player is as dated as the website. If that is "High definition" quality video then I'm Cameron Diaz.

With Saints putting so much on youtube & instagram, its making saintsplayer more and more redundant.

The website, as I said from day one, is one of the worst I've ever seen.

I think the club underestimate the importance of their website. I struggle to believe they will have to pay millions to get out of this FL interactive handcuff deal.

Villas-Boas and Mourinho aren't fwends anymore.... diddums. And they're playing eachother Sunday. Does anyone think BBC articles like this are al just spin to drum up interest for the match? Who actually gives a f**k whether they're friends or not- they don't work together anymore so why would I care if they go to the pub together on their nights off?

Mourinho comes across as a complete bellend to be honest, is he actually friends with anyone? Except Mark Halsey of course...

Blimey, I actually agree with you.

I expect most of these "friendships" are just professional courtesy, but only dished out to those that Mourinho either has to respect (Fergie) or to those who creep round him (watching Steve Bruce chatting on the sidelines the other week was cringeworthy. Like the school spanner trying to suck up to the Top boy).

Can't see why Gaston would be the obvious answer to our inability to break down deep lying defences? He scored a good goal in mid-week against a lower league side, but has done very little else this season, or last season for that matter?
Really hope he comes good and justifies his price tag but I haven't seen much yet?
