I hope to be proved wrong but my take on the move for Chevanton is that it means the club know that Johnson's headed for another lengthy spell on the sidelines. Many of us said that Johnson was going to be vital to our chances this season particularly when the transfer window closed without the addition of another striker. For me nothing has changed despite the wins.
Kinda wish he'd gone to palace now to get paid for sitting on their sidelines. Would have at least freed some money up for a fit striker whoever it may have been.....-
I hope it doesn't exactly mean this......even with a fully fit AJ...we still need another striker (at least). AJ and Charlie CANNOT do every game...even without longterm injuries, niggles, suspensions, tiredness, change etc... we need (AT LEAST) three strikers..plus the kids I hope Arrys being sensible, and it means nothing about AJ longterm
Well in the photo shoot Grifter put on here a day or 2 ago, BZ was on crutches, but AJ was doing knee jerks as they waited for the photographer. So maybe your wishes will come true! I just hope they all get fit quick, though I'd like to see both BZ and AJ traded in for 2 younger, fitter models ASAP.
Looks like BZ is out for the duration, but hopefully AJ is back with us soon and scoring more goals, which he can certainly do at this level if he stays fit. Not sure if we should have moved AJ to Palace when we had the opportunity? Anyway we certainly need more striker options - Reading seem to be getting their business done. Hopefully the new guy will settle in quickly and help support CA.
AJ has been good when on the pitch. So thinks he deserves some respect after people giving him stick before he even started this season. Hope he is fit soon to continue the good work.
Good point - he always puts a good shift in, seems really irritating for the opposition. But the injuries really mean we don't see enough of him.
You're all infected Who are you gonna pick on next? AJ and BZ both excellent pros who would both get into any side in this league and half of the premier league We used to have Rob Hulse
Good pros they may be but playing two or three games and then breaking down for the next ten just doesn´t add value IMO. Younger FITTER players need to have an opportunity.
check out the Stevie Wonder performance that this vid was stolen from, those brothers don't have an ounce of fat on them!!
