The Samsung logo printed in white font on the front and in the middle of the home kit of both teams.

Oh OK, I won't wriggle. Yeah, it was Samsung. Both teams had shirts bearing the name of Samsung on the chest. Wonder if it was remotely off-putting for the players.

I won't be entirely happy or sure until he returns. I just seem to remember that he was going to be away.

Well I bet Samsung were delighted by that draw. Oh and I just bought one of their phones. Oh ****, advertising has made me its bitch.

You're not the first one, neither will you be the last. I think we've had this conversation, about responding to advertising, before. I would say I was the least responsive person to advertising I know, but I do fall foul once in a blue moon. The product must actually be ****-hot enough to back up the ultra-hype though.

And so that the advertising really has worked its way through the system, let's have that peer conversation about which Samsung phone you bought. :)

I don't know that I ever really get done by shirt advertisements and stuff - I'm not gonna go, "oh, I need to fly somewhere - Flybe were Saints sponsors once, I'm gonna use them!". That's not to say I'm immune to marketing techniques, as I'm infamous among my friends for always getting caught by point of sale items in shops. If I'm in Tesco, without fail I'll pick up some kind of sweet item by the checkout on impulse.

It's a Galaxy S3 and it's really nice. Some might say it's too big, but that's how I want it. My HTC was too small for my hands sometimes, especially when browsing the internet. I make far fewer keyboard errors too.

Beer gets me. Whenever I enter a supermarket I walk straight to the beer aisle without thinking about what I'm doing. Their ads do really make me want one, even if it's just Bud and I know deep down it won't be nearly as satisfying as the ad tells me it will.

NASA have determined that for every cubic foot of dirt they dig from the surface of Mars, they could extract 2 pints of water.

I bought an electric drill earlier this year. I believe the Draper had the best spec to price ratio, but was that really why I bought it over the black and Decker or the De Walt? I think the fact they once sponsered Saints may have sub counsciously had an effect.

I've done similar with beer. I trusted Jean Claude Van Damme. :(

You deserve a round house kick to the face for that!

The best beer doesn't need advertisement!

Can't stand cold beer. I come from a different generation. One that didn't get advertising of beer pushed at it.

I'm very much from the new generation of beer drinkers, I can't stand ale, or stout, or anything like that. Cold lager only. People often tell me I should be ashamed, but hey, it's a drink.

Depends on the beer, doesn't it. Some should be cold, some needn't be.

Ale is just an acquired taste. Everyone likes it once they've acquired that taste. Like sushi.
