I remember the last time we came down from the premier league and even though i had been going to City for 40 years everything felt so flat for a long while however now its a pleasure to talk and constantly think about Hull City. After last Saturday i was buzzing and hopefully we all will be again this Saturday. I think its early days in the premier league but isnt it great to look forward to the next game i also think many of us know how difficult every game is so even though there is excitement we don't want to get to far ahead of ourselves. Look at Newcastle they beat villa away then have what there fans think is an easy home win against little Hull city and they come unstuck so for me Yes its exciting still going to be very difficult but what did we expect so wake up Saturday with that buzz get behind the lads and most of all Enjoy

I might get slated for this but there isn't the same buzz, because it isn't new..
I was at Newcastle and it was good but I travelled there reasonably confident of a win, as id seen 2 there in recent years..
when we won there in 2008, thousands of fans left the ground singing the, " this is the best trip" song loudly and there was a real buzz that day, it was exciting and unexpected.
frankly if we don't win at the emirates and white hart lane again ill be furious <laugh>

Go to hell and die, how dare you jumped up little ****. I've supported City since 1960 l moved to the midlands in 79. I'm still a season ticket holder and every match cost me £50 in petrol costs plus extras. Many more like me so how the fick can you complain about fans who don't live in the city

Any buzz should be when we're safe. Each game at a time & all that. Last time we hit the PL, we beat Arsenal & Spurs away, joint top of the league & too many people got carried away, too much buzz & everything goes tits up.

I'm not having a dig, but if your saying it's better to not get too excited in case it goes pear-shaped, what do you gain from that?
Isn't it better to enjoy the good times and if it goes pear-shaped at least you had some fun along the way?

I agree with DJ's point, going to SJP, The Emirates, Stamford Bridge etc doesn't feel the same without that novel factor we had in 2008. I think after how things fell apart last time no one wants to get ahead of themselves too quickly but from what I saw on Saturday we have a manager and a squad who can survive and not collapse once we hit poor form. The pleasing thing on Saturday was that we came from behind twice away from home against a team like Newcastle. The toon may have got complacent but it would have been easy for us to fold after the early goal went in.

Wasn't it revealed that Buzz had a bottle of wine up there? I'm sure that made him need a piss, in which case there's probably still more Buzz on the surface of the moon.

Could be right there. Easier to get the cork out, and sustain an erection no doubt. I've already contacted Branson....it's the funds that are the problem !

Plastic as they come. 50 seasons that's no where near enough, your not a true fan unless you have stood up
At every match with a flare in your hand and sung until your throat seized.

Personally I think flares are happy clapper business along with shouting abuse at opposing fans and police.

You're not a true fan til you've either sat in the west stand on a lovely April Saturday afternoon with a flask of tea and a nice cozy blanket waving your foam hand about, or gone to an away match in a tiger onesie and face paint.

I can't recall seeing this laid out so simply before. This is it, the core point, the simple marketing principle, the simply stated truth that must be placed in front of Assem Allam time and time and time again. Do not embellish it, keep it as simple as it is stated here. This short response addresses his marketing argument, the only argument he has presented, so don't lose the power of it's simplicity.

Think about it and raise it at The Deep (not just any deep <whistle> ), do not let the power of this simple, but well-made statement get lost in the rhetoric.

This completely. Since his childish outburst of "Im naming the team - me me me or I'm taking my ball home" then I'm caring less by the day. I never even considered going to Newcastle which would've been unthinkable previously. I didn't even listen on the radio when I chose not to go.

He certainly took my buzz off me.

Just because everyone doesn't have the same opinion on the name change doesn't make them a plastic. So don't be so pathetic, I don't like the fact our name is changing to be honest, but I don't like the idea of disrespecting the man who kept this club going and got us to where we are. Some of the comments people are making about Assem are disgusting, now that is being plastic if anything is.

Yup, things are going swimmingly so let's focus on what is really important. Attacking people who would like our own team to do well...
