MITO you talk in ****ing riddles at times lad. All I said was that I was astounded he changed his system to accommodate Suarez - which given he's not played that system all season & it's was his first game back, has hardly a massive assumption eh? But no, you've got to take issue with it & wade in with some alternative reality that you attempt to portray as fact, when it's nowt more than your subjective opinion - same as mine is. So save the patronising tone mate, ta.
ok how about this. to the "neutral" observer who's not watched LFC all year your assumption may be plausible. However to you with your vast knowledge of LFc and the fact that you have just perhaps read reaction to the southampton game.... well I think you should have realized that we changed our system of play quite a bit recently. I would contended that my opinion of what happened is not too bad but to call it "alternative reality" betrays precisely my point about you. you are the one who's always right even when its pointed out that you were not. So patronising? i'm glad it got to you then and i'll just leave it there
MITO - perhaps I got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning! Didn't intend for it to be so personal
I couldnt care less about the COC. Please see the rules JK, if you have a point to make about the Cup then expand on your comment. Thanks. Luv
Thanks for that comment Dave. ------------------------------ Lets not get personal, if you disagree with someone then state your case but lets keep little digs and insults out of it please.
I dont want to win it as the cups cursed, anyone who wins it plays ****e afterwards So **** yeah im glad we lost!
Only I never proclaimed to be 'right' - it's my opinion, nothing more ffs. Only the man who made the decision knows the reality & unless he chooses to share it then it's merely a discussion point. Your opinion differs to mine, so what? Why do you have to always look to belittle a simple football opinion with some faux sense of superiority when it comes to your football knowledge?
As fans should we ever be glad of being out of a cup? Don't get me wrong now that we are out the competition holds no value to me but while we were in it I wanted to win it.
Obviously not going to agree. As JS has already identified the stats do not show just how many times we penetrated their box and got into scoring positions as against the number of times that they managed that. We actually did break their line on numerous occasions and were not, as you state, "always playing in front of a backline that was set". As for the goal - glad to see you acknowledge that it was Enrique's MISTAKE that created the opportunity. The striker's skill would have been in vain had Enrique not made the MISTAKE in the first place!
Yeah my comment was tongue in cheek really Luv, of course I wanted to win it. Just trying to make myself feel better How did we line up when Kelly came on? Did Tours or Sakho go dm?
Mito - loving your work, moved on from your bullet point period to tabularism. Effort appreciated I'm sorry we're out of the cup, silverware is what it's all about. The only positive for me was that we only lost 1-0 to a fluky goal and poor defending by Enrique so [what we were talking about the other day] a mistake-led goal. Suarez woodwork and Henderson's miss should have been in. It was one of those games that a draw would have been fair result but as it was a cup game if that happened, the extra time and maybe going out on penalties would have been worse.
I'll ask my mate at lunchtime and see if we can put this one to bed. He'll have spoken to Bren last night
Toure went RB ddnt he? ming Skrtel Sackho Toure Enrique Gerrard Lucas Hedno Suarez Moses Studge We didnt play 3 centre halves in that position did we?
