Good to see we are sorting out our clear weak spots. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/8942264/ Marius Zaliukas is training with Championship side Queens Park Rangers, but a host of clubs in England have been alerted to the availability of the former Hearts star. The 29-year-old had been with Rangers in recent weeks and Ally McCoist's side offered him terms to remain in Scotland. However, interest from England has seen the Lithuanian shun a move to Ibrox and he has been lured south of the border - QPR in pole position as he is already training with Harry Redknapp's side. But Sky Sports understands that a number of Championship sides including the likes of Leeds, Middlesbrough, Birmingham and Blackburn are all monitoring the situation. His representative Barry Hughes confirmed that Zaliukas was now in England. "I can confirm that Marius is training with QPR," Hughes told Sky Sports. "I can't say anything about any other interest, other than there has been a number of clubs make contact."
I don't think a center-half needs to be a prolific scorer Totally. As long as he keeps 'em out the other end I'd be happy!
Certainly a big guy at 6 foot 3, and I think he'd do a job for us when called upon. Let's hope we get this deal wrapped up quickly if he's deemed good enough. 1 more Striker and I'll be happy with our squad depth for this season
For all those screaming for a CB. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/8942264/ How the hell have we managed for the first time EVER! To keep the news of players training with us quiet?? I did notice a Tweet from Northy yesterday saying the club had silenced Ric Roc, anyone know about this?
I think RicRoc's sauces asked him to stop posting on Watrb and apparently he terminated his membership there
Hold on, hold on. His agent's name is "Barry Hughes". Can't be a relation, surely. I though we said we'd never touch another Hughes player.
Hes a CB, was 1st choice for Hearts but they are even more messed up than we were under tango and cash.
