There isn't a much more daunting draw in the whole of Europe than Manchester United away. HOWEVER, if we go full strength and they don't, you never know... Knowing our luck, we'll win at Old Trafford and be slaughtered at home to Brum in the Quarters...

I think it's a good draw. No pressure and underdogs which is when our team performs best. It will also be no embarrassment to bow out of this away to Man U. Frankly, I'm pretty uncomfortable about our league form so I'd rather we focus on that given we've thrown away quite a few readily available points already. On the other hand, if we do beat them, a massive confidence boost. So a win-win as far as I'm concerned.
Bang on, blood a few youngsters on the night, keep the goals conceded under four, no injuries, and concentrate on the relegation battle at hand.
I've the goalposts, since when does nothing special mean crap, it just means I don't find them to be a special team like they used to be. I'm amazed you feel the need to respond in the manner you have to a fairly simple statement.
Fenland, to clarify "nothing special" doesn't mean poor, I'd say poor, or rubbish, or not very good, if that were the case. You can infer that I think we could beat them.
