So... out of our current squad, who do you think we need to move on ASAP in order to free up squad places for better players..?

I'll get the ball rolling with Obertan.

    Some wont agree.

    Cisse.

I hope he proves me wrong, but, at the moment he is a passenger that we can't afford.

I'm honestly starting to move that way myself.
At what point this season (i.e. after how many games) will Pards say 'look Papisse, you are a number 9 and haven't scored for ages'.

Had enough of cisse too. I think, in hindsight, he was probably too predictable for our league. Especially as a lone striker
But lets focus on getting shola out the door first, ey

Shola, Williamson, Gosling, Obertan, Marveaux (big wages, doesn't play and injury prone), Cisse (doesn't suit our system, out of sorts and has been for over a year).

So 6 players for me, we'd then need to sign:

Two strikers to give us Remy, Gouffran, Campbell plus 2x new striker.

Two wingers to givus us HBA, Sammy & 2x new winger.

No CB needed, happy with Colo, Mbiwa, Taylor and promote one of Good or Street (I'd opt for Good).

So 6 out, 4 in and then we have real competition all over the pitch other than RB (this would change once Raylor is back in the summer).

I don't know why he doesn't try Santon at RB as we have a few players that can play LB

Maybe because Debuchy's supposed to be a fcking good player. Nobody remember the European Championships, he was fantastic.

Santon's been a left back all his professional life. The only thing I'd consider about Santon is pushing him further forward and having Dummett in behind.

Not sure where you got this from but not the case. Began life as a right winger in the Inter youth teams. Was converted to a right back, but made his breakthrough under Mourinho as a left back because of an injury crisis. Played right for his country at every level he has played at (most recently as captain of u21s). Even his loan spell to Cesena was spent as a right back.

Only since he came here and because we didn't have a left back, he seems to have been converted. I have to say though if he was being converted to a winger I'd play him left as I think he'd be effective cutting in. But on all evidence I've seen, he is a better right back than left back.

Told you lads so many times that he's not good enough to be your number one striker. If his wages reflect this then you need to be moving him on.

Or try santon on the bench which would be the best option

I'd agree with them, elliot has good distribution but not much else and gets beaten in some silly places. Would like to see us try signa young up and comer
    Or promote from within?

I don't see the point in getting an up and comer. Think about it, it's the same reason we sold Fraser Forster, the England International for 2million. We already have Krul who has at least 10 more years of top flight football in him. Any up and comer would face the Steve Harper situation and be in danger of being frozen out of games and stunt his development. That said, if the youngsters like Alnwick or the coach's (Woodman?) son proves himself, then they could eventually do a Diego Lopez and give us an asset in Krul that we could use.

I honestly believe that Krul will be away before the end of 2014-15 season ( 18 months) The fat controller will be after some more money for his coffers.
