Seems to be the flavour of choice, but he was sacked by Brighton even though he was doing a great job.

Anyone know why? If it was indiscipline, isn't he coming with the same mentality and baggage as PDC?

apparently that was nothing to do with him. i had a look on a brighton forum and they reakoned it was for undermining the board and talking to other clubs without permission

He said in an interview during the season when asked if he would sign a new contract that summer said all his options were open and he had ambitions to manage in the EPL.

The Brighton board took the hump and asked him to explain himself and he said exactly the same thing so they sacked him. How ****ing stupid was that by their boardroom.

He was always destined to manage higher up the food chain and was entitled to say so. However, he learned a hard lesson about talking to the filthy scum from the press.

I do believe one of the main reasons Poyet was sacked was also money?

He wanted money to improve the team and wasnt really given any?

Does this mean that if becomes our manager then he gets some financial backing?

    Be very interesting will January

I know he's favorite but it could be anybody in reality. Odds will shorten on others if it's revealed they've been interviewed.

All the bookies odds mean is who people who are NOT in the know are gambling or speculating on a scenario and how the bookies are protecting there arses.

Its doesnt mean that person is going to be the manager at all. Could still literally be anyone out there.

I don't fancy Poyet as manager at all. I did here he had a bust up with the players at Brighton and he's a dictator! Sound familiar ? Mind you I didn't want PDC to go so maybe he is the right man.
