Since the unexpected stry of last week about dong-won, i thought the story had dissapeared as fast as it came, but...it's back, but still no further on. . Sunderland target Ji Dong-won has denied reports that a move to the Stadium of Light has been completed The South Korean starlet has been linked with a move to the Premier League and is one of the hottest prospects in Asian football. The 20-year-old is on International duty with South Korea in Ghana and admitted he would like a move to Europe in the future. He said to Sky Sports: "Nothing regarding my future is set in concrete at this stage. "But I agree that the game against Ghana is important for me to show my abilities to clubs based overseas." Sources from Seoul suggest the Black Cats and Dong's club side Chunnam Dragons are in the final stages of negotiations. The forward has scored two league goals in 10 matches for Chunnam in the K-League this season. Dong burst on to the International stage with South Korea during the 2011 Asian Cup, where he scored a total of four goals.
just think of the songs for a Don Won, recon it will come off, i posted on him a while ago, hope it workd out.
He doesn't sound keen on coming to us, does he? I read his full interview earlier and he came across as wanting to join a more successful european club rather than us. If we do manage to sign him, I think he will just use our club to get himself into the european shop window and once he gets a sniff of interest from another club, he'll be off faster than Darren Bent down the A19. I don't want players that are not fully committed anywhere near the AoL, never mind the SoL!
The crowd in the stadium went wild, this must be a publicity advert to sell players, Koreans are wild for football, but where was the crowd?
