Pukki isn't the type of striker the OP was referencing Harold. His stats are good, but his play doesn't mark him out as the penalty box striker that would be the fulcrum of an attack with the likes of Sammy, Derk, and wee Jamesie in it.

Pukki will do well...but he's not a leap forward from Hooper. I would have liked to see Celtic gamble on some one proven. Finborgson would have had sell on value as well.
I have to admit I was wong here. It would appear not only are we missing a clinical striker for CL football - we also need one for the Scottish League Cup. PLaying Barcelona next week. Several of those players last night could have been pushing for a starting place next week. Wasted opportunity all around.

Good quality strikers would rather play in the lower half of the Premiership or La Liga etc and that level, even the championship can pay more than we can today.
