I was thinking about him the other day, forget his conviction, how good a truly talented strickerman would have been.

Interesting reading - at €15,000 Euros a year to fund the scheme - it would have been nice for Mboyo to fund it once the government stopped.

Interesting that he played football with Kompany.

I wonder if he will get a chance at a big club? I'm not advocating what he's done - but his footballing record is pretty impressive.

I'd agree, but it seems if the guards weren't up for it after the mboyo controversy it would never work. Shame because it seems a good scheme if there was never any trouble.
Not sure how I'd feel about powerful gang bosses 'managing their teams' from the sidelines!

Interesting comment, "if we can't accept that people can be rehabilitated & successfully rejoin society, then we may as well give up on the justice system."

    Very true IMO.

I wouldnt want my child cheering him on!

What about the insult to the victim and family?

Why should a rapist be prized?

He is only rehabilitated because he got caught!

I don't think it needs closing, we did the topic to death when we were linked with him and we decided against signing him anyway.

There was a small blow up here recently from Chris Brown whining about still getting **** for beating up Rihanna. He was commenting that Jay Z gets a pass from people after stabbing a guy, being caught with a gun, and selling crack. Right or wrong this statement from the artcile "if we can't accept that people can be rehabilitated & successfully rejoin society, then we may as well give up on the justice system." almost never applies to violence against women and children. Thats why Chris Brown and Mboyo will always be followed by their actions.

They're not short of rapists in the Banana Republic of the Congo, but they can definitely keep this one away from Hull.
