Of course not, you rac... oh, wait he is, isn't he? "God, what a good goal!", perhaps? please log in to view this image
Friedel made a couple of good saves, PNP - there was one low to his left from Albrighton in the first half as well. All in all a really good evening - only slight concern for me is around Lamela, but early days.....
Forgot about that one, ex-Relayer! Lamela's showing bits and bobs of what he's about, but he's not quite up to pace yet, in my opinion. A few more starts for Towsend and some cup games for the new signing, I think.
Not exactly sure mate - seems to be working hard enough - maybe trying a bit too hard. PNP is probably right, HE's probably just not up to speed yet. He just seems a bit too serious about himself...... Hence the prima dona comment I made at half time. Sure he will come good soon enough
Wandering Yid. Listening to that commentary,I thought it was live from the Emirates! Where's my prayer mat?
If the photo wasn't enough for you: Didn't realise how cynical it was!
Brad thankfully wasn't tested too much. Chiriches needs to make maximum use of the lovely new weight room for the next year. Lamela as above, and when he was put through one on one first half, their was a tv angle from behind him, either side of a flatfooted keeper and he scores, hit it straight at him! Scored freely in Serie A, and I'm not sure what to say about that. 2 quality assists already though, one worth 3 PL pts. Holtby on the front foot as he should be in this company. Its how I saw him play for Schalke before we bought him, in that 10 role aswell, god knows why he thinks he's better elsewhere! bit of an idiot dare I suggest! Walker looks in for another long season starting every game regardless of comp. Capoue needs to hurry up, Paulinho as above. Kane, never really happens for him. These obs are from what I saw, my stream was ok but not totally continuous. Whilst on the subject of streams, how come this year??
It reminds me of the Harry Enfield sketch, 50's Arsenal complete with flap caps and pipes v Modern Day Liverpool, when Harry knelt in front of Paul Whitehouse to pull his down to celebrate a goal.
What's most worrying is it happened 2 days after verts was sandwiched in a gang bang type celebration after we beat cardiff, maybe he enjoyed it more then we thought!
