Is Holtby our secret weapon, slowly developing into the new.... dare I say it, Ozil?

Spam nick it in the end <steam>

Impressive from Cardiff only playing with 10 men though, with no-one playing at no.16. :)

    Cardiff City

    32 Lewis
    02 Connolly
    05 Hudson
    12 Brayford (McNaughton - 46' )
    42 John
    11 Odemwingie
    16 Noone
    18 Mutch
    19 Cowie
    20 Mason (Smith - 56' )
    23 Maynard (Gestede - 90' )

Goons spent a lot of pre-season mocking him, but it looks like there's more than one German midfielder capable of creating goals with sublime passing.

Willian was crap but Chelsea still won, no goals in the second half again could be significant though. Willian is insignific*nt.

    Torres, Eto'o, Willian and Schurrle.

I'm quaking in my boots! <laugh>

No Lamps or Mata either, Oscar and Hazard are their only goal threat.

If AVB can do for Holtby what he did for Bale in finding his ideal position and getting the best out of him, who knows? They went all out to get him early last January for a reason so maybe that faith is beginning to be repaid. Loos like he's settling down now and that can only mean he'll get much better.

More options like him just makes our squad look awesome.

Easy son... there's a lot riding on this game. Most notably AVB and Mourinho's little spat. Could be tasty. Save those comments until we win... if we win.

Here I am, Lloris and Paulinho's number 1 fan, if other slower people catch up with me that's all well and good

On a serious note I know I was and am massively right about both of them, and am absolutely delighted <ok>

Also absolutely delighted with the win, but confused to say the least about AVB.

Here's what he told us, I paraphrase, I hope not unfairly,

'Playing two games in three days is putting my players at risk '- so he played some of our multi-million pound stars and put them at risk.

'No-one who played at Cardiff will play v Villa' - But they blatantly did, I just saw them.

I await what happens v Chelsea.

But I'll say no more, because this was a fantastic victory, and I'm over the moon and all the rest of it <ok>

Lol - Lloris has looked a bit dodgy in almost every game this season and has been lucky that his errors weren't exploited more.

But that's a story for another thread...

He was Avbs number 1 target, luckly he wasn't fully trusted last year as otherwise we would have signed him but Willian is one of these players like Adebayor who only plays well when has a point to prove.

croydon <laugh>. I still think we should stay with Bobby though so he can find the feet that I'm CERTAIN that he will. The only way for him to find his undoubted form is to play........sorry lads.

I can only put that down to Gomes being back in the squad this season. His influence must be rubbing off. Please send him packing again!
