Capital One cup is back so I expect Nigel to make some changes but nothing major. Chris Wood is doubtful as he missed the Blackpool game with a hamstring strain. Sean St. Ledger is still weeks away and wont be rushed after the last 18 months he has had injury wise. Marcin Wisalewski could make his debut. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet Whitbread Morgan Bakoyogo Knockaert James Hammond Dyer Nugent Vardy Subs- Logan, Wisalewski, Miquel, King, Danns, Taylor-Fletcher, Schlupp
Don't like team changing as you know ... but the ones you highlight aren't bad and I'd love to see Bakayogo in more than a cameo appearance - but I want to win this - good possibility of a 'big boy' in the next round - even better if we get a cozy home draw against another football league club ..
Is Taylor-Fletcher quick enough to play on the wing? Has Wasilewski got international clearance? It can take bloody ages- I know there was a Spurs player recently who didn't get it for a good 3 weeks.
Poland is in the EU - dont think member countries need international clearance - may be wrong though.
Schmeichel Moore Wasilewski (if available) Whitbread Bakayoko James Hammond Danns Schlupp GTF Vardy Subs: Logan, Morgan, RDL, King, Knockaert, Nugent, Dyer
I'm up for a few changes. Would like to see Zoom, Was, Hammond and GTF given a run-out, show us what they can do.
@OfficialFOXES: #LCFC U21s XI to face @NorwichCityFC: Smith, Watson, Elder, McCourt, Sesay (c), @seanstledger12, Cain, Paratore, Panayiotou, Dodoo, Daniels I think we can take from that Tom Hopper is in the squad tommorow
Schmeichel De Laet Wasil Morgan Bakoyogo GTF James Hammond Dyer Nugent Vardy (pref Wood if he recovers from injury) Subs- Logan, Miquel, King, Danns, Schlupp, Whitbread, Knockeart
I would be very surprised to see Chris Wood involved after what Shakey said. Its not worth risking him For me Vardy still needs games to get the experience. His all round play has grew no end over the last 12 months but his composure in front of goal is awful.
Do still need international clearence AFC Wimbledon had points deducted in a recent season when then signed a player who last played for cardiff and didn't have international clearence. I think this is getting confused with a work permit (which players outside of EU need)
Schmeichel Wisalewski Miquel Morgan De Laet Danns Hammond James Bakoyogo Vardy Schlupp Subs: Logan, King, Drinkwater, Konchesky, De Laet, Nugent, Taylor-Fletcher
Interesting lineup tonight... @OfficialFOXES: #lcfc team v #dcfc: Schmeichel (c); Moore, Wasilewski, Miquel, Bakayogo; Hammond, James, Drinkwater; GTF, Hopper, Schlupp. @CapitalOne_Cup@
Bloody hell, I'm all for ringing the changes, but does Pearson actually want to win this game? I hope this isn't another Huddersfield-in-the-FA-Cup moment.
To me it is crystal clear, we do not want to win this match! The tea lady could have picked a better side.
What's the point of signing people if we aren't going to play them? I'd rather give them a run-out and chance to gel now, than not play them at all for 2 months and then suddenly be chucked in during an injury crisis or something.
