MM has put out a complete second string, Wet Spam being at home have come in a bit stronger. Looking through the lineups it's clear all prem teams are playing second string sides, although I can't quite tell with Sun'lan
Mata playing against Swindon trying to fight for his place in the Chelsea lineup, absolutely ridiculous.
0-0 at half time, nothing spectacular but we passed it well with no end product, Boyd started well down the right but didn't get any good balls in. Quinn looking good everything seems to be going through him. Faye is just scaring everyone, he's pushing past the Huddersfield strikers to get the ball then they just stand & watch. So far so good, could do with keeping Pros a bit further forward , he's doing what Aluko does, but doesn't have the ability. Fryatt started slow but picking up. Rosie doing well too. Need a bit more direct into the box instead of tippy tappy IMO!
Half time. We've been the better side and passed it around well but not created enough. Back four are comfortable; Faye and Bruce have both made great tackles. Dudgeon is energetic as ever. Quinn and Meyler running the game. Sagbo and Fryatt look dangerous. Fryatt's miss was almost perfect. He actually picked his spot well as I always criticise him for not doing but was unlucky with the bounce off the post. Proschwitz is the only disappointment really. He's not holding anything up, just giving it back to the midfield first time evry time. Needs a bit of Dudgeon's enthusiasm and Boyd's ability to hold onto the ball. God knows what Faye was doing with that header.
Yep.. Burnsey has been having a whinge about hight ticket prices at League Cup ties.. sayin' £15 adults and £5 kids to too high, the stadium is empty and a quid each would encourage people to get into football
I know it's only £3 but if you bought a ticket before 6pm it was only £12. About what I used to pay about 20 years ago at BP to watch us in League whatever it was back then.
