Agreed. 12 quid and 3 quid for the lad. The ground should be full. What are people doing on a ****ing boring Tuesday night. Obviously I'll be taping Sarah knockers, but so should everyone else

Meh I would but mid week games at home are a major pain in the arse for me. Weekend ones are traumatic enough but can't get to this one tonight sadly :(

Maybe if the club took the competition seriously more fans would ( and turn up in greater numbers )

Got my ticket online just before the 6pm discount deadline. The middle blocks of east and west were pretty much fully sold. Outside blocks half full to empty.

Gotta go pick me ticket up just before kick off. So that could be fun.

I can't manage tonight, it's hard enough with two homes in a row, never mind three.

That's bollocks reasoning. We'll be playing professional players who are proven at Championship level and in fact got promoted. They're easily good enough to win the game Those same players were good enough last season so why not now? We'll be up against a lower Championship side's 2nd XI. If the ground is half empty they are going to struggle to get up for it. The fans make football what it is. Come and make it a serious game.

Who would ever bother going to watch the fecking league bastarding cup until we're in the semis?

I can't remember us having an exciting game in this friendly competition anyway.

So I gets to the ticket office, no ticket waiting for me. Now my surname is pretty uncommon and there were tickets under the name. So the old bint gets them for me. It takes a while to come to the the conclusion they ain't mind.

The questioning goes on for a while, all the time I cwn hardly hear what the silly old fool is saying. Questions include 'are they for today's game'. Eventually she gets around to asking when I booked them. About 5.45 I say.

Turns out they hadn't printed them off yet.

To top it all off I didn't get the ticket I selected. In a right **** spot.

Nope. First home cup game I've missed since I started going to City. I've already said, the Allams won't be getting a penny more out of me.

    Why didn't you just move?

There were about 17,000 seats to chose from.

Have you ever tried moving at the KC stadium?

Once, me, my brother and my old man had tickets in the west stand, the steward insisted on looking at our tickets, I can't remember why I think we were sat one seat across and some complained, but anyway he came and looked we moved into the seats we'd paid for but we were each in a different number seat to what the ticket we held said. He stood there for 5 minutes arguing that we had to all switch round so we ended up just passing the tickets between us til we had the ticket matching the seat and he went ****ing ape****, said we can't do that and threatened to kick us out.

I encountered one almost as bad recently too in the club shop, they had the fire door opened and after looking round the shop I proceeded to leave through it like I'd seen others do. I was actually outside, fully through the door when some haggard ugly old bitch came out and told me that the fire exit was being used as an entrance and demanded in no uncertain terms that I go back into the shop and out of the main doors. I couldn't be arsed to argue so I stepped back in the shop, she turned her back so I turned straight round and walked back out the completely empty fire doors again. She came storming out yelling her repulsive head off at me that I'm an obnoxious **** and a thug and the club would be far better off without me.

    No joke.

You don't get problems like that when the place is empty though, some ****er was sat in my seat last night and I couldn't be arsed to make him move, so I sat next to my seat.
