How many games per season does Diaby average? He simply isn't worth the reported 60k a week he's on. The sooner Arsenal are shot of him the better. He probably costs half a million per game. When his contract expires, renew on a pay-as-you-play or let him leave.
It was mentioned before, that his wages are probably covered by insurances for such lengthy absence, so it's probably not costing the club anywhere near that much.
I very much doubt any insurance company would have covered Diaby when we renewed his contract so he will be costing the club a substantial amount. Im at the point now where I would rather Arsenal just pay him off and get rid than keep him for one more day. I read an interview with him earlier this year where he was saying that he travels the world getting treatment in other countries as he finds it too depressing staying at home. If I remember correctly he had been all around the middle east, America, Australia and other places. Hard life being an Arsenal crock
Arsene Wenger admits he can't name a comeback date for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott after he suffered a 'mysterious' injury http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-he-suffered-a-mysterious-injury-8834964.html "We hope we haven't lost Walcott for a long time. He has a muscular abdominal problem but I don't know how serious it is," Wenger told BBC Sport. "Is it a question of days? I hope so. He had a little problem before the Marseille game and it became a bit worse. "It is a bit mysterious because we don't really know what it is." Is this the bloody X-files or something? What is the medical staff getting paid for?
Who do we start in his place? We have 3 or 4 games before the international break. The Coc I'm not too worried about. The game against Swansea is crucial as is the Napoli game. Then we have the other game against WBA in the league. Will Miyaichi feature?
Miyaichi will probably feature, but thats more down to us having a bare squad than him warranting a place. I liked him when he first came to us and he showed some promise with that speed of his. But even after a few loan spells, he's failed to break into our first 11 this season and that is in despite of all our injury's and lack of squad depth up front. We're officially down to one first team front-line player, so a few players will have a golden oppurtunity to prove their worth, Miyaichi being one of them!

Good news on the Cazorla front - Even if he is wrong and he can't make the Napoli game, his return is not far off. http://www.givemesport.com/383657-santi-cazorla-hoping-for-swift-arsenal-return?autoplay=on
According to Wenger, Cazorla will probably be back after the interlull. I'm praying that Walcott will shake off this problem and be available for Saturday.
So Walcott's out until after the international break. What'd I say? Get 1 back, and another goes out injured, .
Bad news for us, we're seriously scraping the barrel now. Looks like Bendtner won't only be in the Coc for us very soon....
To confirm on Walcott: http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/theo-set-for-minor-abdominal-procedure Theo Walcott will have a minor procedure on his abdomen in Germany on Wednesday which will keep him out of action until after the next international break.
Some good news though, Rosicky will be back next week, so that's good. On Podolski and OXO, Wenger's said that they are nowhere near, so don't know from where people have been getting an early October return for OXO, Wenger's said that OXO's still out for a month and a half. Fabianski's back too. http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/team-news-boss-on-rosicky-and-fabianski
Good to have him back but not the player we need at this time. We need one of our wide players or Cazorla (as he can play wide) back. We'll have to wait and see what Bendy, Gnarby and Miyaichi (if he's playing) does.
